Sir one more suggestion. Health Insurance companies insure only for one year..In practice is we don't get health insurance for older people. As the claims are always less as compared to premium incomes. This can be more monitored through strict compliance of the claims. The income share of the health insurance companies be diverted to compulsory insurance of health of senior citizens through the introduction of premium sharing schemes for senior citizens. Thus enjoy assurance to live in India.

Ridiculously there is a procedure for father's pension after his death to be given to his mentally handicap son and for it the remnant relative should approach the government. It is hell procedure - first of all to prove that the mentally handicap was my brother, then to approach my father's old office, then to prove the handicap's incapability. taking him through various Government orgnsns. One who is from outside city limits it is impossible to claim such pension

I am a teacher working with a CBSE school, the condition is pathetic here, no support system for specially-abled, no special educator or any other facility is being provided. We need to seriously wake up to the needs of these specially talented children and give them an opportunity not only to equal education but also equal right to lead a normal life. And they very clearly dont expect pity from us, but a helping hand to make them independent. A request to CBSE to look into this arena pls....

Also, there should be a group focused on policies that monitor specific codes on how websites are developed. There should be a group that maintains building codes for new buildings built that requires accessible features. For older building, accessible features can be accommodated and by law require basic accessibility. This does not have to be expensive. It can be a bell or sign that gets attention of the shop keeper.

I am an Assistive Technology Specialist in Arizona and want to be of service to Bharat. In USA, old wheelchairs, computer, Assistive Technology is thrown away and other useful products are thrown away. They can be refurbished and used. Also, developing products, software, apps is costly as the margins are low and quantity of sales are small. But, if we develop them in Bharat, we can provide it for our brothers and sisters and export it abroad.

I think the major challenge for the citizens who take assistance of wheel-chair is that the work place, buses, gov service areas like banks, bill payment centers, postal are currently not wheel chair accessible. If we can make some provision where the arena gets wheel chair accessible would be of great help for the needy and inturn empower them to be independent is doing their daily chores. Thank you !

I am a special educator working one of the finest city of India in Mumbai where everything so well developed but just have a look at the centres running here for special kids its just so sad. In entire Mumbai there are just 2-3 centers where they are taken care otherwise there are no centers where they kept well, treated well or looked after .It is very imp to set up centre which are grade appropriate with proper facilities resources and some vision rather than a place where they are dumped.
