these are some practices, some of these should be adopted and implemented by government to decrease urban pollution and increase the freshness of environment. As Modiji once said, he wants to develop the cities like the 'body of city and soul of town' means infrastructure of the city but environment and culture like a small town

Residential sites should not be allowed by every state or central government in India. Existing laws should be amended. Only very high raised apartment buildings must be sanctioned. With India's growing population, land will become scarce. Agricultural lands and forest lands must be protected. Food and rain go hand-in-hand. If governments allow residential sites in every city with every new layout, land for industries will become a problem. The government must learn the balancing act.

There are lakhs of vehicles in Delhi. Public transport like metro, bus & private cars/ vans etc. All such vehicles must be installed with portable & cheap solar panels. Probably, these wont be able to derive the vehicle but it can atleast provide energy to run AC of vehicles. A small conservation of energy on these vehicles can add up a lot. In recent times, Qatar Rail has announced that public transportation system will integrate solar technology into its network.

A few best practices from France, Germany and the USA include the use of solar energy on the roof tops of the buildings, having environmental health and safety departments in each university, proper waste segregation containers and their management, the use of hybrid buses and conservation area on the periphery of lakes etc.

We can use solar energy+convex lense to reduce dependability on LPG. The idea is to design a Solar Chullah using Convex glass. For this the material required are Convex glass of total surface area 2 Sq mtrs having different slopes, Metal frame with stand to hold the convex glass, Copper sheet of about 2 mm thickness and Thermal insulating material. But it requires funding and help from firms to make graded convex lens.
