Surat Smart City Webinar/Seminar Talk Show on Smart Solutions for Citizen Participation in Various Cultural & Sports activity

Surat has been selected in the list of 100 Smart cities under the Smart City Mission of Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD), Government of India launched in June 2015, and is gaining momentum in various parameters to get shortlisted in the final round of Smart City Challenge where 20 cities would be selected in the first year.

The vibrant and enlightened citizens of Surat are requested by Surat Municipal Corporation to post their suggestions for enhancement and improvement of municipal and city’s basic infrastructure and amenities so as to improve the quality of life of its citizen and share their opinion and area of improvement to make “Surat – a Smart City”.

The citizens and various stakeholders of Surat is its biggest strength. Let’s participate to make this mission inclusive and meaningful for every common man, every citizen and transform this vision of smart city into realty.

Citizens of Surat may post their views solutions about smart solutions for Surat Smart City Proposal on Citizen Participation in various cultural & sports activity field. This seminar will be addressed by Shri B.I.Desai, Assistant Municipal Commissioner & I/C. Deputy Municipal Commissioner in presence of Art & Cultural expert of Surat City.

HEALTH AND FITNESS CREATE BY INVOLVING THROUGH SPORTS AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES.SO SURAT MUNICIPAL CORPORATION FACILITED VARIOUS ART AND CULTURE ACTIVITY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. ALSO SMC PROMOTE LOCAL ARTIST,TRADITIONAL DANCE GROUP SO THAT IN GLOBLISATION SURAT CAN BRANDING ITS CULTURAL ACTIVITY. SURAT KHUBSURAT MARA SWAPNNU SURAT SUNDER BANE TEVI SHUBHECHHA.

now surat is Selected in Smart City for different activity in Arts, Cultural and Sports. so my personal view to make more participation of citizens as well students in cultural and sports activity that government should open on sport center for each and every sports that will provide training at low cost so that will encourage more people and also encourage Local Artists of Drama, Music, Vocal, Folk, traditional Dance rather than Western Culture.

now surat is on global map with talented players in sport field in different activity. so my personal view to make more participation of citizens as well students in cultural and sports activity that government should open on sport center for each and every sports that will provide training at low cost so that will encourage more people and also should held more international events.

I think for any smart city energy is a big concern.Since now a lot of new buildings would come up, I feel most of those buildings should have solar panels installed to make the city energy sufficient or maybe even surplus.Moreover Led bulbs could be used.
