Dear Sir,We note Ministry of company affairs have setup committe to suggest on removing penal provisions in company act and replace this with fines, this will not work in India, in view of the various banking NPA cases,Nirav Modi, Malya cases etc,Criminal offences under company act are must.Also Niti Ayog has been used by corporates to lobby their interests like decriminalisation of penal provisions in Mineral Act,all thus might suggest that government is acting at the interests of corporates
