The following provisions may be ensured by the GMC:
-Locations for market & other necessary amenities such as hospitals etc should be within 10min walking distance.
-Pedestrian walkways & vehicular road should be properly developed to avoid traffic & pollution.
-Surrounding hills of Guwahati may be developed scientifically & architecturally to attract tourists thus helping in the particular sector.

River Brahmaputra should be narrowed by erecting walls on both sides to increase velocity which will help de-silting its bed. Also provide enough space for development, urban landscaped areas, encouraging tourism, efficient transportation and reduce artificial flood in the city.
Similarly, Bharalu should be dug, widened and erect pucca walls on both sides to double its carrying capacity of waste/rain water from Guwahati city to river Brahmaputra.

No proper Internet Connectivity. Poor telecom network. BSNL is not able to provide OFC connectivity in Major Business Area of Guwahati. No proper road, transportation, no damping place. Only corruption everywhere.
