Under Smart City Mission Stage 2 challenge, the Municipal Corporation of Muzaffarpur has received overwhelming response from its citizen in smart city suggestions and ideas.

As part of citizen engagement & consultation process (for preparation of Smart City Proposal) Muzaffarpur Municipal Corporation organized a wide range of activities - e.g. Field Visits, Stakeholders Consultation, essay, submission of suggestion forms, vision statements, social media (Facebook,Google+ and Twitter) based activities, citizen awareness campaigns, smart city mobility van etc. to ensure that every citizen (encompassing all age groups and sections of society) must participate in Smart City Proposal making exercise.

Develop gandak river side like ahmedabad sabarmati river front where our PM and China PM met some times back. This will attract tourist and earn revenue for the city. Ring road will be great to think on.. Build Airport - which is delayed by decades After all this basic infr...some industries/manufacturing/IT/ tourism/

Here are the lists: Wider road Clean roads - no practice of daily sweeping/cleaning in the city Well planned drainage system (city is water logged during rainy days) Street lights even in gram panchayat areas traffic disciplines - reduce congestion and pollution Ac/non AC buses within city - help reduce congestion and pollution Plantation on road sides/mid roads - city is absolutely tree less E-governance Sewage treatment plant - lot of sewage dumped haphazardly

Muzaffarpur City is waiting for IT hub, why we people of Bihar will go to Bangalore or Delhi. We people of India, City of Litchi, waiting for a big change. I pray excellency of Ministry of IT to recommend our Smart City for IT Hub.

र-माट सिटी में सबसे जरूरी है नेशनल हाईवे से सभी अतिक्रमण हटाया जाए तथा सभी शहरी नेशनल रोड को फोर लेन किया जाए

E-Governance is the top most priority of any city, Citizen Centric Services must be provided to citizens. This creates a big difference and faith in government. E-Court project provides 28 Citizen Centric Services to the litigants and Advocates. It has so many benefits like litigants know their case details, Cause List, Dates and many more via sms and website.

Civil Court, Muzaffarpur may be shifted aside of town, and its a good time to initiate to this shifting process because the ecourt project is yet to start in our town. That large area may be used for another development process inside the city
