We require a walk-able, stumble-free, and encroachment-free footpaths in our smart city for ordinary citizens, handicapped and particularly for the elderly and children. There cannot be a smart city without proper footpaths, subways and bridges.

The educational facilities and standards should be improved and made such that the students of Coimbatore are trained to be not just coimbatore citizens but GLOBAL citizens. There is tremendous scope as Coimbatore is blessed to have many schools and colleges. Focus on employment and expertise in their fields should help them a long way.

All governmental departments implementation should be handed to the private companies like TATA consultancy, for example the passport department is handled by TCS and work is done effectively.. so that corruption can be controlled and timely completion of work can be done in every department

Coordination between government agencies is a must. When the road contract is done, the electric and sewage should complete their jobs in advance so that its not dug immediately as soon as the roads are laid.
