Conducting/promoting rewards point system for good drivers of public transport vehicles, and publish good drivers list, to inculcate sense of responsibility and caring for other road users.

Intelligent Transport solutions - We need real time tracking of Public transport in the city. Each bus stop should be fitted with tracking information display system indicating the bus route, time of arrival etc. And the bus stops should have directives/information like Places of Interest, Connecting Routes, Metro connection, cycle sharing etc. This is a simple solution that can make the city smart. A mobile app can be designed which can give travel options to the coimbatoreans. For eg

Sports Infrastructure -
Coimbatore requires International cricket stadium and an indoor stadium along with aquatic complex. This will not only support the budding sportsman from the city but also the entire western TN. Apart from this, exclusive bicycle tracks along certain stretches like marudhamalai road or RS puram can be formed.

The best starting point would be to:
Promote green energy, Improvise public transportation, Build very good public library,Facilitate children with creative laboratories & good playgrounds to explore their abilities & innovation centres for college students and replace inefficient appliances and machinery to save energy. Smart city doesn´t have to be built from scratch. SMARTNESS could be retrofitted into existing city. This thought will lead to constant innovation making our city smart soon

A Good and Proper City / Town Buses. Identify the Bus Shelters which are Closer to Traffic Signals and move the same to a better place ( Closer to the existing one ), where it could avoid Traffic Jams.

In and around of coimbatore, every village is having 1 to 5 pond’s. Inter connect them using big cement pipe’s with valves to control water flow, which should be below 5 to 10 meters from earth surface (So that no need to take any land from people). Once this is done, connect village pond’s to another village pond’s. Down the line around Coimbatore all the pond’s will be interconnected like a web. This will provide employment and water to everyone in the future. Also ground water level will goup

The prison has to be shifted to the city outer to areas like vellalore or neelambur. The prison land is prime property in the heart of the city and it should be put to proper use like commercial complexes or parks. Implementing the integrated bus terminus project shouldn't be delayed at all. Constant monitoring over all works done in the city is highly essential in order to maintain quality and save money.
