The education system in the 21st century must promote innovation while revamping the traditional educational system. The need for quality improvement in the curriculum and the desire to equip students with 21st century competencies has brought innovation at the core of the educational ecosystem. Hence, school culture that support innovation should be developed and encouraged extensively. The National Education Policy 2020 has a big focus on innovation as a tool for revamping the educational system.

In view of this, CBSE along with the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell has developed guidelines for schools for promotion of Innovation and Entrepreneurial skills in students, titled ‘National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Promotion Policy (NIEPP)’. The policy guides school education systems on various measures that may be adopted to promote a learning environment where creativity, ideation, innovation, problem solving and entrepreneurship skills of students are nurtured, irrespective of their age.

Children's/Students are the future of the Nation. So moulding the students in a such a way that each and every student must efficiently contribute to the development of the nation. 1. Class 1 to Class 5: Basic Education 2. From Class 6 onwards the student should be given only one subject along with a language subject. (For example Science+English, Economics+Hindi, Mathematics+Tamil, Military+English, Computer+Any Language, Sports+Any Language, Law+Any Language and etc., 3. Class 6 onwards, 90 percent of activity/practical based Education. 4. Apart other subjects, govt. may also introduce a subject called nationalism/patriotism subject. (Present generation does not have any idea on patriotism. Patriotism is essential in order to get motivated). 5. Idea of the above is to shape up the skills of the younger generation in an efficient efficient. 6. The above idea may solve, uncessary burden on the students and and let them stay focussed in the selected field of study.
