The education system in the 21st century must promote innovation while revamping the traditional educational system. The need for quality improvement in the curriculum and the desire to equip students with 21st century competencies has brought innovation at the core of the educational ecosystem. Hence, school culture that support innovation should be developed and encouraged extensively. The National Education Policy 2020 has a big focus on innovation as a tool for revamping the educational system.

In view of this, CBSE along with the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell has developed guidelines for schools for promotion of Innovation and Entrepreneurial skills in students, titled ‘National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Promotion Policy (NIEPP)’. The policy guides school education systems on various measures that may be adopted to promote a learning environment where creativity, ideation, innovation, problem solving and entrepreneurship skills of students are nurtured, irrespective of their age.

The National Policy on Education 2020 has a great focus on innovation as a tool to reform the educational system. The need for quality improvement in curriculum and the desire to equip students with 21st-century competency skills has brought innovation to the core of the educational ecosystem. Therefore, a school culture that supports innovation should be widely developed and encouraged. Pedagogical practices should be designed to teach children to think in ways that lead to innovation. It should be the goal of every school to create a creative approach to learning rather than taking tests.

Teachers should identify talented innovaters by conducting some competitions. They should encourage such talented students by recommending to participate in all inter school, district level, state level and national level competitions. Take them to some workshops and factory visits. This will help the students to gain more knowledge and experience. A separate portal to give information on seminars, innovation fair, science fair, book fair will be very helpful for the teachers and parents to plan and send their kids A Zoom meeting with top innovaor students will help other students to interact with them and exchange their ideas.

Under NEP, students will have a wider option of ART & SCIENCE. Their knowledge will be tested on all parameters rather than on just written tests. Competency - based questions will help students of Grade IX & X to tackle the All India Entrance exams in a more productive manner. Usage of technology is a big part of NEP. This will help students to gain more access to specialised information. Teachers will have better resources at their disposal.

Story - telling is an integral part of the teaching as per NEP. The focus is now on bridging the learning gaps with competency-based assessments over the full year rather than standard testing. The biggest asset of the education system is the TEACHER. The NEP places immense importance on building capacity of teachers, developing skills of teachers & making them 21st century ready to lead their students. NEP 2020 has tried to align the working model of schools across India to that of a more practical approach towards education. NEP includes a very hands - on approach with experiential learning, a synergy of ART & Theory.

Mujhe lagta hai ki humare desh mein jaise jaise Hindi chodkar English bolne ko badawa de rahe hain waise hi humara desh ek din isse britishers wala na ban jaye isliye Hindi ko aage lana chahiye jis se humara culture humari language bane kyunki sabhi bahri desh apni mother tongue ko jyada dikhate hai aur hum apne desh ki bhasha ki jagah ek foreigner language ko badha rahe hain.

Every student do not tell everything about school life, personal life , some of them feel hesitate to share and these type of students can not get better position in future so my advice is to conduct some webinars/ seminar on this in every school, institutions etc as a subject . This will be very helpful for them
