The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is a highly vibrant and dynamic sector of the Indian economy with over 6 Crore units, providing employment to 11 Crore+ people (after Agriculture), having 28% share of GDP and 40% of exports. Like other sectors, MSME also has been adversely affected in terms of productivity during COVD 19. Accordingly, the efficiency and productivity of MSME assume further significance to achieve overall objectives of economic development and a V shape recovery of the Indian Economy.

Draft National Policy for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in India is a continuation of various measures taken to date to promote competitiveness, technology upgradation, infrastructure, cluster development, dedicated credit, procurement of products & financial assistance to MSME.

Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises invites stakeholders, Industry Associations, MSME units and general public to share suggestions and comments on the Draft Policy. The purpose is to firm up adaptive and inclusive National Policy for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

The cottage industries, cooperative societies and local self-help groups must be encouraged by DICs.The district industrial authority. should conduct skill development and session on the procedural notes to get working capital in a language known understood by the entrepreneurs belonging to rulers areas.A comprehensive list of criteria and the nature of assistance must be exhibited in all the centers. The demand is how to start, where and for whom? therefore MSMEs are seeking for capital, positioning and further technical assistance onnl

Sir... Banks are not coming forward to give loan for some genuine people who wants to develop their business and give employment to others. I request the Government to instruct all the nationalised banks to support the genuine people who needs loan and help them to get them based on their performance and credentials. Small business owners are suffering without much business after this Covid pandemic. I hope that the concerned authorities will look into this matter and make sure that genuine business people gets loan quickly. Banks can give some Reward points for the customers who repays the loan amount promptly. This will encourage them and they can achieve success. When bank rejects the loan they are forced to get loans from outsiders for higher interest rates and after some point of time they couldn't repay the loan due as interest gets accumulated. Due to this many are forced to close their business and not able to support their family. This has to change.

The Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) sector is the backbone of any developing country’s manufacturing sector. It consists of a large number of businesses that generate employment for a significant part of the population, and make a substantial contribution to their country’s export earnings. Respected Sir, I think the only way to solve the problem of unemployment in our country is to create as many startups as possible. The person who is creating the startup will give employment to others and this would create a chain. Some ideas of small scale startups specifically in the rural areas-1)charging stations for e rickshaw 2)Modifying houses into homestay ,3)Arranging village walks which can include sightseeing of farms, showing village culture like weddings and other functions 4)Villge cuisine in traditional style5)Setting haats where the women can sell hand made woolen and handicrafts.Such initiative can bring revenue to the village and stop people from running towards city to live a miserable life.A little support from the Government can turn our villages into business centers. This can attract a lot of foreigners towards rural areas. Thanks

I don’t see any mechanism to address to non-performing assets NPAs of India which are basically our IAS. They must be used only to execute the policies and not not to frame the policies. Legislature and Executive are mixed so badly that they influence negatively our judiciary. The judges too are the mercy of these bureaucrats for their facilities. Please for God’s sake curb their powers. Make Secretaries from other specialized services and see the magic.

Growing India. India people have faced many problems while choosing their profession because of the lack of knowledge of best earings. For example, their were many craftsman in who sold their handmade art for food and craft but now a days the value of hand craft have increased in the mindset of our society. In our current Indian society the culture of hereditary business have been vanished which is a symbol of good democaracy. Now,India can do everything that it wants because of youths. So, it's time to support India, Support every Small Idea. because " Jab karega India, Tabhi badhega India. "

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a major role in economic development, particularly in emerging countries. There is heightened attention by the international community on the MSME sector. This is primarily because of the critical importance of job creation in the recovery cycle following the recent financial crisis, and the MSMEs’ potentials in that respect.
