The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is a highly vibrant and dynamic sector of the Indian economy with over 6 Crore units, providing employment to 11 Crore+ people (after Agriculture), having 28% share of GDP and 40% of exports. Like other sectors, MSME also has been adversely affected in terms of productivity during COVD 19. Accordingly, the efficiency and productivity of MSME assume further significance to achieve overall objectives of economic development and a V shape recovery of the Indian Economy.

Draft National Policy for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in India is a continuation of various measures taken to date to promote competitiveness, technology upgradation, infrastructure, cluster development, dedicated credit, procurement of products & financial assistance to MSME.

Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises invites stakeholders, Industry Associations, MSME units and general public to share suggestions and comments on the Draft Policy. The purpose is to firm up adaptive and inclusive National Policy for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

Engineering students Diploma students ITI students should be compulsorily asked to work in MSME sector like doctors house surgeon with some stipend amount monthly in and around their area identified by their colleges or universities. Areas of interest can be choice of students. They should come out with confidence and stay motivated to start a company on their own or become partner in the company they were given apprenticeship.. 1-MSME department should visit various ITI & DIPLOMA or Engineering colleges every year and explain various schemes and promote entrepreneurship. 2-MSME dept should organise stalls at any and every possibility possible like kumbh mela or government fairs. 3-Teach MSME benefits in schools. Also how we can apply for various benefits. 4- Try to show entrepreneurs as the heroes to next generation. 5-Teach the nation to respect wealth creators. They create the wealth which is facilitating the economic growth.

Contd--Now to build healthy MSME with young generation is key for a large population with higher employment . The entrupruner needs to be protected like a soldier to fight economic war with other countries in exports. The attitude of govt agencies should be like handling growing child. Uncertainty at every stage to be taken care by security for his family. A simple cover of health & accident insurance free cover, P.F cover with a ratio of employees , taxes paid, export earnings. Free access to upgrading technical advices from the best in the field. Govt should have the best team for correction of any rules or strategies at Central level. Health assessment of export units to be closely monitored financially & commercially to avoid risks of international price wars. Availability of Quality raw materials at reasonable prices & equipment should be financed time to time. Depending on achivements of the unit. Concession to attend international seminars or fairs concerned to the unit promoted

Manufacturing activities are muscles of a country. Lots of thinking has to go into MSME for our country. We have peculiar problems & success. Developed countries use robotics for repetitive jobs to enhance productivity, quality & to reduce manpower This needs more investments into equipments. We have issues like highly populated, tropical weather, low productivity. Our major market being domestic. We are still to catch up trade to international quality, to their taste & standards. We need strict discipline & quality for international buyers. It's a buyer's market. The world is looking for best quality at lowest price. In reality this becomes difficult & for quality you get under paid as rejections manhour spent becomes more.Unless you have stringent quality analysis & R&D. The golden rule for being successful country is lots of exports as external money flows in for the hardwork & appreciation of quality. If you remain only a big importer you are at mercy of other countries. Contd---

According to there are several problems of MSME: 1. Reach to customer 2. Prices are high in comparison to MNCs 3. Lack of technology 4. Lack of capital investment. Here are some solutions of it: 1. Most people are not aware of the MSME near them. They should be motivated to buy localised product. They will only buy when they trust the product and they will only trust is any govt servant guarantees it's quality and durability. Make in India campaign should be encouraged 2. Government should reduce the taxes on MSMEs and they should be provided with subsidy on electricity as it plays crucial role in production. 3. They lacking technology infrastructure. They should be made aware of technology. This will reduce time and cost of production. 4.banks should provide them with loan at low interest rate. 5. Government should provide them with subsidies at technological product they buy 6. School and college students should be made aware of products is MSME. India is full of youth.
