#Rourkela: Main market has lots of parking issue. Now a days traffic police are being deputed to keep a check on people who randomly park their vehicles. This a good effort by #Rourkela Police. Problem with this is that these traffic police are not deputed at all locations. My suggestion will be to depute traffic police at all locations. For example, 1-2 police should be deputed at equal distances. Traffic management will also be easier for the police presented at that location.

#Rourkela: Rourkela Railway Station to have proper parking lot. People randomly keep their vehicles. Public transport like auto rickshwas have a separate stand but they do not maintain decorum. They create jam during peak hours. No proper parking area for four wheelers, which also cause road blockage.

The Rourkela city lirequires to ensure basic infrastructure services to enable a decent quality of life in urban pockets and a clean and sustainable environment and adoption of smart solutions and providing more public spaces to poor. It may be implemented through areas based approach consisting of retrofitting, re-development, pan city initiatives.
There is also need of hours to develop and adopt a model code for development of new cities Pan India for continuous pace of Smart Development.
