Three strategic components of Area based development in the Smart City mission are:

Redevelopment: This involves replacement of existing built-up environment and enables co creation of new layouts with enhanced infrastructure using mixed land use and increase density. Minimum area of 50 acres would be taken up under this model. For Rourkela best example under this is Madhusudanpalli / Malgodown area and Pradhan palli area, etc.

Greenfield: This involves introducing most of Smart solutions in a previously vacant area. Using innovative planning, plan financing and plan implementation tools. Minimum area of 500 acres would be taken up under this model. For Rourkela best example under this is Riun Village/ Cheend colony, BPUT area, TISCO quarry siding and Kalinga Vihar area, etc.

Main market has lots of parking issue. Now a days traffic police are being deputed to keep a check on people who randomly park their vehicles. This a good effort by #Rourkela Police. Problem with this is that these traffic police are not deputed at all locations. My suggestion will be to depute traffic police at all locations. For example, 1-2 police should be deputed at equal distances. Traffic management will also be easier for the police presented at that

Enhanced public transport facilities inside core city limits since the roads are narrow without much space for expansion. Using public transport in these places should manage traffic woes. Environment friendly steps to be taken to replenish the city

I have a strong feeling that primary school from 7th std to 10th std should have basics of indian penal code sections under social studies or civics in the syllabus the depth of the IPC section should be made simple to understand and the fear to commit the action .

Start a Drive against Plastic Bags because we people are very much use-too to use plastic bags daily and throw it anywhere. Make a law if any one found giving plastic bags in any shop will be fined accordingly.
