This talent should be promoted from grassroot level i.e from the schools. The faculties should give proper support for this. The school authorities makes an effort to try and indulge them in any one of the games.

We should held National Games every year in a big scale like CommenWealth or ASIAN games. This will improve sporting culture and infrastructure in india. See sports as an industry which creates lot of jobs.

Sports will improve health and discipline in general. One way to do this is by creating community sports centers (SAI Stadia can be used for these) which operate from early morning till late night. To maintain such centers a "pay and play" scheme can be introduced. In urban centers where the proportion of people with IT jobs is relatively high this is bound to be popular. Ideally to cater to the population the target number of centers should be 1 per MLA constituency in say 10 years time...

All the stadiums occupy huge space. If the new stadium developed are multi storey ed or atleast with underground for use such as commercial space, multiplex, parking etc, the same space can be used efficiently. Moreover the top of seating space can be covered with solar panels to generate power.

catch them young is the key.Students have to be trained hard for their fitness at their school levels. The eating habits and less healthy activities , better life style had made the student community looks less healthier these days. The sports/PT activities had to be made mandatory. The schools need to have a good training grounds. The sports Authority need to identify the prospective future talents at the age of 8 and train them hard. The sports division schools should have better facilities.
