Sir,
A smart city must contain few points according to me it shld b smart enough to save gov money and give the maximum benefits... ex. Engry efficent lights on street and city surveillance. Engry efficent lights wld save engry and city surveillance will reduce the police 's burden for round ups which will save petrol and extra cost. The enrgy savings and saving through city surveillance will add up for a new investment. And what will peolple orelse u say I am able to give both

Off course solar engry is only d way bt its way to far in current situation we shld nt go for new thing unless and until we modify our current assets. We have led lights which are possible in india and will help in saving govrmnt fund. One thing all of u guys are missing is rain.... when its rainy season solar light wont b sufficient enough to supply electricity bcoz of clouds. So its better we go for led lights. Improve what we have and later think for solar.

Introduce Power grids and Solar electrification. Provide support to the families who want to take initiative. Every rood top should have solar panels. UT should involve agencies for procurement and maintenance. Families should generate and sell surplus electricity back to grid. Encourage solar lighting in all public buildings. Make it mandatory that atleast 5% general lights should be solar..to be increased by 5% every year. Have half hour daily power cut during night time in residential areas

Solar energy is a solution. To propogate this technology all govt officials shd b encouraged to adopt it on subsidized rates n the deductions shd b directly made frm the salaries.Awareness about it shd be widely undertaken by giving free demonstrations. Resident welfare associations can b involved to undertake these in the community centres and also in housholds at large. The department shd hold weekend demonstration for maximum reachability.

- Solar Energy could be one of the best way. We can make all government offices solar energy driven.
- Promote use of solar energy in the region.
- Use of LED lamps on streets and wherever possible.
- Centralized AC and Heater systems for all offices with strict operational policies to save cost.
- Use of Wind turbines could be a option.

The most easiest way to overcome power issues is generate more power. You might be ammased that a THORIUM POWER PLANT CAN GENERATE 3600 TIMES MORE POWER THAN NUCLEAR POWER PLANT AND ALSO IN LESS PRICE.See this linkhttps://www.google.co.in/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thorium-based_nuclear_power&ved=0CBsQFjAAahUKEwijgpDW_tXHAhUCj44KHbATAlg&usg=AFQjCNE-3MbXinNJuYO_Prfee1LU6P0gHg&sig2=HMMTr6a5-3iv81znXQ-Mcw.
