TO REDUCE WEIGHT OF BAGS, WE NEED TO REDUCE NUMBER OF BOOKS CARRIED DAILY OR REDUCE THE WEIGHT OF INDIVIDUAL BOOKS. THIS CAN BE DONE BY REDUCING THE NUMBER OF PERIODS IN A DAY. CORRESPONDINGLY DURATION OF PERIODS COULD BE INCREASED BY 5-10 MINUTES. E.g. 9 PERIODS IN A DAY COULD BE CUT DOWN TO 7 PERIODS. PERIOD DURATION OF 30-40 MINUTES COULD BE INCREASED TO 40-50 MINUTES. THIS IS ONE OF THE SIMPLEST SOLUTION FOR REDUCING WEIGHT OF SCHOOL-BAGS. THERE ARE MANY OTHER SOLUTIONS.

Edu systm is boring , burdensome& depressing.Reduce the no of subjects till class 10. instead of too many subjects, focus on his health& personality development. US system have only 3-4 subjects compulsory, 1. Englishf 2. Maths .3 Science all other 4-5 subjects are optiona and keep child happy and healthy l and these include not only boring, depressing, mugging type History , geography but skills such as KEyboarding, Theatre, Music, Creative arts, sports which keep children interested and happy

The best way is to give education on caring for self health and promoting students to do pranayama, yogasana, exercise, walk with nature, filed work, sports etc. An awareness should be created on home medicine.

It is the need of the hour to formulate a new education policy. Govt. Must constitute a single education board up to the level of 12th standard. Merge all the present education like State boards, CBSE, ICSE, NCERT etc in a single entity by taking all the good aspects of them. The education standards across India must have a uniformity. Quality education has to be provided to all students irrespective of their financial or social status. Eliminate the present type not discrimination by money .
