The girl child today faces inequality and gender based discriminations even before birth. The nation cannot move forward unless women are given opportunity to realize their full potential and contribute to nation building.

Given this context, please share your thoughts, ideas, suggestions and feedback on how we can change the discriminatory social construct in order to celebrate the girl child. What should be our communication strategy for improving the situation and reach out to people?

Sir according to my conscience education of parents in particular and of society in general about the demograpic figures and provisions for social and moral education helps a lot in changing the discriminatory social construct against the girl child.

Sir I guess coeducation should be made mandatory so that girls n boys get along with each other from the very beginning n respect each other. Sir like we had a no Polio movement we should have a "no girl at home" or "all girl at school" movement.

Sir, I believe we should make also school CO-EDUCATION ( with Girls and Boys together) This definitely helps Boys to respect girls from Childhood, And girls similarly learn to deal with boys and are never afraid of them since childhood . We have many Boys school or Girls School in Urban Cities Like Mumbai. All schools in India should strictly be Co - Ed so parents will have to put them in a Co-Ed school, whether Urban or Rural. Thank You.

Recently, in Bangalore and then in Kolkata, we heard news of molestation of small girls in School premises. These are one of major hindrances in such movements like"Beti Bachao Beti Padhao". I most humbly request our Hon'ble PM Shri Modi to intervene in this matter and make stringent laws against such Act. Sir, please please help us to get rid of these shameful and unfortunate scenario.
