The girl child today faces inequality and gender based discriminations even before birth. The nation cannot move forward unless women are given opportunity to realize their full potential and contribute to nation building.

Given this context, please share your thoughts, ideas, suggestions and feedback on how we can change the discriminatory social construct in order to celebrate the girl child. What should be our communication strategy for improving the situation and reach out to people?

Sir Discrimination towards girl child is not common only in poor people. Most of the rich families also follow this practice.Infact Poor guys dont have money to lure Doctors and medical staff for gender determination. Most of these tests are asked by Rich families. This mean Girl child is not at all related to only Money/financial background.Families which follow this consider daughters as embarrassment.Lets do something which directly helps in boosting pride in Indians for their daughters.
