The girl child today faces inequality and gender based discriminations even before birth. The nation cannot move forward unless women are given opportunity to realize their full potential and contribute to nation building.

Given this context, please share your thoughts, ideas, suggestions and feedback on how we can change the discriminatory social construct in order to celebrate the girl child. What should be our communication strategy for improving the situation and reach out to people?

First of all we should understand/acknowledge and accept that we are in the country where we not only respect the females but worship them as : Devis" and from ancient time we have the culture of " Yatar Nariyaste pujayanti ramante tatar devta" so we should change the mindset starting with us as sell as all our nears and dears towards the females..as we are surrounded by females in many forms mother, sister, wife, aunty,Grand mother n so on.educating 1 girl is to educate 3 generations..

Man ko jhakjhorta 'Naree ka astitva...' It's very important to save woman's survival. I have an invention idea to make 'A safety dress' for girls. I will be very glad and thankful if you give me a chance to contribute my ideas of invention. I need a research platform and your kind co-operation. We can stop rape cases completely.

Accoding to me we should have to first take back gurukul system in india again.I think all that what happend with girls all because of no moral vaules.i think main moral values which are important for us are in our education system so that why i want gurukul system in india.from last era you can see how we lose our all moral values and result is in front of you. second thing is that our law system have to improve.if laws are so stick againist criminal the chance chance of crime will few.

Scene of rape, smoke and drink should be banned in indian cinema. Our culture is to respect women. This type of scenes and songs are misguiding our youth. Children and youth try to copy style of hero, they think smoking, drinking and teasing girls are style statement. We can make a change.

Respected Hon'ble PM, SINCE DOWRY IS THE MAIN OBSTACLE TO THE GIRLS EDUCATION.OUR PARRENTS THINK,THEY HAVE TO PAY A BIG AMOUNT FOR MARRIAGE SO THEY DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON EDUCATION. DOWRY IS ALSO A MAIN REASON OF GIRL INFANTICIDE. GOVERNMENT SHOULD MAKE VERY STRICT RULES AND LAWS AGAINST DOWRY.

8 women died and 50 hospitalized after sterilization surgery. Govt announces usual money to next of keen. When are we going to address the root cause? Shouldn't the responsibility be fixed and concerned be charged with criminal negligence? Being in government job does not give right to do as they please.

TO BRING DUE IMPORTANCE TO A GIRL/CHILD,MAKE IT MANDATORY THAT ALL TYPES OF GOVT SUBSIDIES SHALL BE DIRECTLY CREDITED TO A BANK ACCOUNT ONLY WHERE A GIRL/WOMAN IS THE FIRST OR ONLY ACCOUNT HOLDER.IT HAS BEEN OBSERVED THAT ALL MONEYS/PENSIONS/SUBSIDIES CREDITED IN A MALE PERSON'S ACCOUNT,ARE WITHDRAWN BY HIM SOLELY FOR HIS USE/DRINKS/DRUGS/GAMBLING ETC AND NOT FOR UPBRINGING THE FAMILY.

I think dowry is the main obstacle to the girls education. Our parents think, they have to pay a big amount for our marriage so they don't spend money on our education. Dowry is also a main reason of girl infanticide. Our goverment shoul make very strict rules and laws against dowry. Until we don't finish dowry system completely, girl's education can not be improved. It is a very important issue to take action.
