Crypto-currencies cannot be regulated. What you can regulate is the exchange of crypto-currency and fiat-currency. The Govt. should focus on that. Do not try to regulate what you cannot. Remember trying to ban GPS devices. Now you are trying to ban quadropters. You cannot keep on banning new technology and expect innovation from your citizens. And please educate your regulators.

I am graduate in finance and a budding investment actuary. My thoughts on btc are:
The world is switching to one single currency. A global currency.
Before 1991 India avoided globalization and we all know the result of that. Its time India adopts this next step in globalization and leads in the use of this currency and makes maximum benefit from it.
Self regulation should be adopted as the currency is constantly evolving.
Also the govt needs to focus on consumer education to prevent scams

Indian Government should learn from developed countries like USA and Japan. Regulations should come to handle the crypto currencies. If it happens it will be in tune of Digital India. It should be regulated soon in India.

understand as per my view this is totally bullshit and kind of story.
jo logo ko black mail kar ke $ me rs kama rahe hai.
itni badi technology bata rahe hai or unko koi maintan karne wala nahi wo
puri hawa me chalti hai koi to hona cahiye jo iski autority le.
agar koi iski autority leta hai to this is very good agar nhai to aap log soch bhi nahi sakte ho iske kitna crime bade. sara balck money yaha aajyega or aap kisi ko identify bhi nahi kar paoge. #BitCoin #avoid

It must be regulised as it is transparent, cheap as no 3rd party like bank have there monopoly charges and convenient. All this banks are looted to Indians as somebody duped to bank like in case of vijay malya and bank are charging poor and innocent people in the name of transaction fee or somthing else. This should not be the case with virtual money. It is hard earned money of people and why to give money to bank as they are becoming rich and richer with our money. Its time for people to earn.

Japan is great example how they accept new trend of money and accept it as legal. Many other countries like philippines also legalize bitcoin. India is developing countries and we dont have resources.... India should have to regulate bitcoin. There is benefits of using vc . we save paper, time.. and so much.. it is one of best revolution did by satoshi nakamoto and it is the real currency.
answer of all question just regulate it.
