Virtual currencies have been in the market for a considerable time now. Countries like Japan and Australia have accepted bitcoin as a legal tender. Bitcoins are used in China on a large scale. If India want to be in level with these developed countries, it should start by accepting digital currencies. It will get us milestones ahead on the path towards digital India. If we aren't making it a legal tender as of now, it should be observed and tax should be applied on it. But we cannot regulate it.

Crptocurrency is in very early stage in india, now it should be observed for a time period. After that BTC and others VC can be regulated. Many major countries had been already accepted & regulated.More ever all transaction have been taking place through bank only without KYC Noboady can do transaction.

It must be regulated, if our pm dreams to make india digital, virtual currency must be used n regulated by RBI.Many countries like America, Japan, Russia.. Etc are already using virtual currency, so we must deal with digitalization of our country.......

I want to know the composition of the Committee. Have all members declared that they donot have any holding of any cryptocoins themselves or their close relatives?. Also why a public notice in papers are not given because this decision affects all citizens of India who are fighting against corruption and black money whether they are digitally active here or not?
