• Water treatment has to be done before send the water to consumer mostly near the lake itself.

At a time when Cities are competing to be in the first list of 20 smart cities in the country, the civic bodies lacks expertise on advanced technology and ideas.
Our civic bodies do not have a single urban planner. In cities like London, chief urban planner is the second most important official after the mayor. To become world class the first thing is to get experts from various disciplines, such as urban planners, architects, transportation planners, financial managers and environmental eng.

Chennai has WHO research centre for diabetes and is home to world's leading yoga centre that can reverse diabetes conditions. The City should be built so that people can avoid Non communicable diseases. City should also have all type of yoga like Hot yoga, Bikram, kundalini etc and have Yogic diet points. At the same time city should have facilities like Times square to do mass yoga practice. Not all the Schools in Chennai have separate room for yoga practice. Separate rooms should be built.
