every human has right 2 experience D ease and happiness around. it is duty of fellow citizens to care for them also good karma. usa, Europe have provision, compulsion to make arrangements for such in hotels, schools, public transport, hospitals, as there is new developments so govt can make such too.. currently i.t is everywhere, they can be trained for jobs, where they can travel less, however if pvt company can make special bus so each company can arrange trip for them to share with others

According to my ideas small devices must be developed for movements of lags and hands for handicap persons which can be fitted on knees elbow where ever necessary. It must work just like robot.in that case no need of tricycle etc required The devices must be cheep and affordable to persons. It will improve the quality of life.

Visually Impaired have a lot of difficulty in orienting themeselves in new places. We can give them a natural reference point, the north direction using a low cost special pocket sized magnetic compass which we can be used by them by touching the pointer which locates the north direction. This will help them align themselves while travelling.(image attached)

I would suggest this opens the ground for Indian scientists to showcase their innovations. For visually impaired people, they can invent device which can just cause a camera to capture, convert and present to the human brain to read it..something analogous to computer graphics. This can be major breakthrough for world see India's capabilities.Indians have the brains and are sleeping due to lack of robust RnD facilities.

Transportation is one of the biggest hurdle. We should have better infrastructure at Railway stations/Bus stands by having ramps, escalators, lifts , wheel chairs and also provide appropriate appropriate equipments to the specially abled people. Also we should have some social awareness programms where people can understand how they can help these specially abled.

Big Business houses in our country can play a lead role for providing these equipments on free of cost to the needy person. This can be done by allowing these business groups to post ads of their company on these devices. This can be done by mutual agreements between govt or any NGO & the business groups. These buisness groups will not be charged for posting their ads & will bear the cost of device in return. This program can help a lot of persons in our society with disabilities.

1)The buses should be enhanced with equipment which can tilt the bus so that a wheel-chair bound person can easily get in. This is already in place in USA. 2)Footpaths and bus stands should be made congenial for the specially abled.3)Motorized wheelchairs must be made compulsory and be made available at subsidized rates.4)All the major buildings and offices should have convenient arrangement for wheelchair bounds to be mobile.5)Trains should be redesigned & special boarding arrangements made.

The bigger challenge for the differently abled to be independent in mobility is the accessibility to the facilities. We must make all public places wheelchair friendly. A policy with deadline has to be in place for the implementation of this. Signage to direct them to such facilities, User friendly Toilets, Counters, Ramps, the list is endless. If we are talking about this, We can make this happen!
