The Department of Posts (DoP), trading as India Post, is a government-operated postal system in India. Generally referred to within India as "the post office", it is the most widely distributed postal system in the world.[2] The postal service is under the Department of Posts, which is part of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of the Government of India.

Dear Sir. Postman, in India, is always considered not just as passing the letters, but carrying the emotions in rural sectors from ancient times. He used to put bell and doing a running 'marathon', then cycling marathon. Till today, in rural places, cycle bell has is carrying happiness. So to respect his work and since ICT is e-connector, I want to propose the project name as "e-Patravaah" where Patravaah is a Sanskrit word for Postman. Thanking you.
