With over 1.5 lakh Post Offices, the Department of Posts has the most widely distributed Postal network in the world. The goal of the Rural ICT Project is to provide a low power technology solution (ICT Device) to each Branch Postmaster (BPM) which will enable each of approximately 130,000 Extra Departmental Post Offices (EDOs) to improve the level of services being offered to rural customers with an objective to improve the quality of service, add value to services and achieve “financial inclusion” of un-banked rural population

The selected entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 and two runners up entries will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 2,000 each.

a project name for Rural ICT Project of Department of Posts.Department of Posts and its colour combinition the most widely distributed Postal network.the Rural ICT Project and its simplicity with simple slogan fastly fit in the every brain.services being offered to rural customers with an objective to improve the quality of service, add value to services and achieve “financial inclusion” of un-banked rural population..that shows in the slogan with logo. by SMITIL D PATIL.9860001295/7507001919.

आकाशदीप - AkAzadeepa AkAzadeepa is the name I suggest to ICT Project. The name 'AkAzadeepa' means the beacons. In ancient times, fire is lighted in mountain top to communicate and send messages. And seeing fire/smoke at one mountain, others are also will light up & signal the neighbours. Like this I wish the financial inclusion programme would spread by word of mouth in rural places, hill stations etc. Hence I suggest the name 'AkAzadeepa'.
