In accordance with the vision of Prime Minister to build the nation from the villages, the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) aims to converge all programmes of Government and combine the same with the MPLAD funds in order to create model villages.
Under this, a few villages will be identified in each District for provision of all basic services and amenities such as – drinking water, sanitation, solid/liquid waste management, housing, connectivity, internal roads and street lighting, on a saturation approach. All these villages will also be open defecation free and will be models of good governance.
Department of Rural Development, with aim to get peoples’ participation for suggesting a suitable Logo for SAGY, invites entries in MyGov portal.
The last date of submission is 30th September, 2014
The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs.25,000/-
