i) Hotels in-and-around tourist places need to comply with strict regulations and should not pollute. Every hotel need to ensure that there is no discrimination b/n the rates charged to Indians and those charged to foreign tourists. TRUST matters alot. We should not lose trust to make few quick bucks. j) SAFETY: What happens when a tourist loses his life in a road-accident. Do you think that his friends/relatives/country men would visit India again.. Our roads have to become accident free.

i) CLEANLINESS : Most important thing to inculcate in our citizens. A tourist will remember both the Taj Mahal as well as the filth around the Agra Railway station. And among the pics he posts on FB, the ones for the filth will draw more comments and dissuade from people around the world from travelling to India. j) India is still being projected as country of Slumdogs in foreign movies.. This perception has to change and will require effort on part of every Indian to clean up their act.

Don't cut trees while building hotels & guesthouses...Preserve rainforests and don't tamper with the natural habitat while going all out to promote tourism. Ban the use of plastic...Garbage should be recycled and segregated into wet & dry before being recycled. Greenhouses should be made to increase oxygen levels and all polluting vehicles must be serviced. If they are not, they should be served a warning with a heavy fine. All serviced vehicles in the country must have a identifiable sticker

Today international tour is cheaper than domestic tour. This needs to be rectified. Proper hygiene and sanitation needs to be provided at probable tourist attractions. If affordable lodging and boarding is provided with proper facilities, tourists would flock the destinations. Indian tourists should be focus as this is a huge market. Proper roads need to be constructed to connect these attractions. Rope ways at forts, hill temples and other hill resorts need to be provided

We can not blame govt to promote tourism and preserving the local ecosystem.Govt need to make only infrastructure like road, medical facility and awareness etc and the task of preserving the local ecosystem should be done by the local peoples. Most of the tourist destination are in little town and the rights should be given to local bodies to preserve the environment .India have lot of potential for village tour same like medical tourism.
