As a neonatalologist, I request you to mention related to Womens Day honour about Baby Shakti who truly exemplifies the spirit of Nari Shakti. Baby Shakti was born very premature like 35lakh babies per year in India. She was smaller than a mobile phone, born 3 months before the “due date” for delivery. She had undeveloped organs and complications and her story of survival is a testament to the resilience of premature baby girls. She braved 10 weeks in the NICU amidst tubes, wires, machines and is a happy 6-month-old now. Girl babies have higher survival rates in NICU as they adapt to stress very early in life with “risk-averse” strategy. Girl fetuses help the mother even in the womb by helping placenta function. After birth, premature girls’ lungs mature faster, their immune profile is more robust than boys, their brains stronger. Science shows that for very tiny babies, survival rate is 60% in girls (vs 38% for boys) due to the resilience, tenacity, strategy of girl babies

Letter for Mann Ki Baat To, The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi Ji, New Delhi. Subject: Inspiration from Shri Pramod Kumar Sahu’s Environmental Work Respected Modi Ji, I wish to share the inspiring story of Shri Pramod Kumar Sahu, lovingly called Pahad Bhai. Through his tireless dedication, he transformed a barren hill in Odisha into a lush forest of over two lakh trees. Without any government aid, he worked for years to restore nature, recharge groundwater, and inspire villagers toward organic farming, herbal plantation, and eco-tourism. His simple life, deep love for nature, and commitment to the community make him a true symbol of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.” His selfless service deserves recognition and should reach every Indian through Mann Ki Baat. With respectful regards, Name-PRAMOD KUMAR SAHU FATHER-MARKANDA SAHU [AT/PO-KUKUDANG, DIST/PS- ANGUL, STATE-ODISHA, PIN-759123] Mob-8658584675

In this unique initiative, 20 families came together and installed a 60 kW solar power plant. Through Virtual Net Metering, all 20 consumers are now benefiting from clean solar energy generated from a single installation within their apartment community. Under the scheme, each eligible consumer received a central subsidy of ₹78,000, making solar energy affordable and accessible. This financial support encouraged the residents to shift towards renewable energy with confidence. This project has not only reduced electricity bills for all 20 families but also set an example for apartment societies across India. It demonstrates how urban communities can actively participate in the nation’s renewable energy mission. This model can be replicated in thousands of housing societies, helping India move faster towards energy independence, sustainability, and Atmanirbhar Bharat. This success story from Raipur shows that when government vision and citizen participation come together, transformative
