Indore Smart City - Live Talk Show

Indore Municipal Corporation has started the process of citizen consultation for Stage 2 of the "Smart City Mission" City Challenge via the launch of it's website (www.smartcityindore.org), social media (including Facebook & twitter), along with what's app.

As part of the process, Indore Municipal Corporation is organizing an online talk where different stakeholders of the city will be explained about the Smart City Mission.

A presentation has also been prepared which has the details about the Smart City Mission, Smart City Challenge (Including Vision, Goals, Area Based Development Plans & Pan City Initiatives) and how residents can participate in submitting their ideas. The citizens of the city will be educated about how they can submit their smart views/suggestions.

Citizens of Indore may post their specific questions about the Smart City Indore Mission on or before 8th October 2015, which will be addressed by:

Shrimati Malini Laxman Singh Gaud (Mayor, Indore)

Shri Manish Singh (Commissioner, Indore Municipal Corporation)
Representative of Consultant Team (Mehta & Associates) & Other Technically Qualified Representatives of Indore Municipal Corporation

Venue: The event will be streamed live from NIC District Center @Collectorate Indore

If Indore is chosen in the Top 20, then by when will we start seeing the changes in the City? By when will the projects start implementation?

The smart city shall be developed in such a way that no speed breakers on any roads, Efficient waste disposal system and generation of power from the same etc

स्मार्ट सिटी मिशन में एक योजना है क्षेत्रानुसार विकास जिसके अंतर्गत किसी एक या एक से अधिक क्षेत्र का चयन कर वंहा की धरोहर को संरक्षित रखते हुवे पुराने स्ट्रक्चर को तोड़ कर स्मार्ट सिटी के अनुरूप नया स्वरूप प्रदान करना . इंदौर में खजराना ऐसा क्षेत्र है जो ऐतहासिक मूल्य रखता है लेकिन वंहा की बसाहट इतनी संकीर्ण और conjusted है कि ना तो वंहा एम्बुलेंस जा सकती है और ना ही फायर ब्रिगेड .क्या इस इस क्षेत्र की बसाहट को मुंबई के भिन्डी बाज़ार की तरह डेमोलिश कर स्मार्ट सिटी के रूप में नहीं बसाया जा सकता ?

अकाल की वजहसे तूर दाले और प्याजकी फसल कम आयी है . इसलिये इन चिजोंकी आयात करनी पडती है . और अपना बहुमूल्य विदेशी पुंजीका व्यय होता है. इसलिये ऐसा आवाहन किजीये की जबतक पर्याप्त मात्रामे अपने यहां उपज नही होती है तबतक या तो तूर दाल और प्याज वर्ज्य करे या कम खाए.
