गाजीपुर की 10 प्रमुख समस्याएँ:- 1॰गंदे नाले का पानी गंगा मे गिरना 2॰लोगो का मल मूत्र त्याग करना 3॰कलेक्टर घाट स्थित मछली मंडी का सारा कचरा (सड़ी हुई मछली, थर्माकोल, प्लास्टिक) गंगा मे जाना 4॰कल कारख़ाना का गंदा पानी गंगा मे जाना 5॰नगर पालिका द्वारा गंगा के किनारे की सफाई का ध्यान न देना 6॰शव दाह और अंतिम संस्कार होना 7॰नागरिकों द्वारा कचरा गंगा मे फेकना 8॰गंगा के किनारे प्लास्टिक के थैला और प्लास्टिक के डिस्पोजल का प्रयोग 9॰गंगा मे साबुन और वॉशिंग पावडर द्वारा कपड़े की सफाई करना 10॰जागरूकता की कमी

Difficulty in collection of non-biodegradable material in higher Himalaya.One rain can sweep all the material 11.Less interest of state govts.

Major challenges/issues facing the Ganga are- 1. Bank of Ganga used for Latrine. 2. Disposing the dead bodies. 3. Industrial untreated waste. 4. Bathing of people with soaps and shampoo. 5. Religious offering wrapped in non degradable plastics thrown into Ganga. 6. Idols of God dumps after any festivals. 7. Peoples wash their laundry. 8. Bathing of animals. 9. Domestic wastes. 10. Hospitals wastes. They have added large amounts of pollutants to the river Ganga.

According to me top ten challenges are given below :- 1- No new industry near the bank. 2- Mob control on ghats. 3- Stop nonbiodegradable article sell on ghats. 4- Pilgrims/tourist should feel good. 5- Dam and similar structure should remain. 6- Human wastes. 7- Public support. 8- Education on importance of this task. 9- Visible early changes to encourage people. 10- To make this social issue rather than political issue only.

Drawn off of chmical fertilisers residues and pestisides from agriland, floating oil,greasse,fats etc changing its physical and chemical properties therby bio and aquatic activation reduce which makes it lifeless. No innovation has been carried out to make it pure and clean ganga, above all it is the big resource of INDIA.
