प्रत्येक स्मार्ट सिटी में अपने स्थान, जनसांख्यिकी, संस्कृति और अन्य कारकों जैसी विशिष्ट सुविधाएं होगीं, वहीं सभी शहरों कि सामान्य समस्याओं के लिए एक ही स्मार्ट समाधान हो सकता है। इस प्रतियोगिता के माध्यम से सामान्य समस्याओं के लिए इसी तरह के स्मार्ट और अभिनव समाधानों की पहचान करने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। इस श्रेणी में प्रतिभागी को शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग में सक्षम होने के लिए पुछे गए सभी सवालों के उत्तर के साथ पूर्ण विवरण भी प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए। प्रश्न- 1. निम्नलिखित 21 स्मार्ट समाधानों में से, ऐसे 3 समाधान का चयन करें जिसे सभी भारतीय शहरों के लिए लागू किया जाना चाहिए और इसे स्पष्ट करने के लिए एक संक्षिप्त विवरण (अधिकतम 50 शब्द) भी लिखें। 2. ऐसे किसी 'स्मार्ट' सुझाव का वर्णन करें जिसे आपने किसी अन्य शहरों में देखा है (दुनिया में कहीं भी) और जिसे आप अपने शहर में भी देखना चाहते हैं। 'स्मार्ट विचार' का मतलब कम संसाधनों से अधिक कार्य करना है। 3. ऐसे 3 तरीकों का वर्णन करें जो भारतीय शहरों में अमीरों और गरीबों के बीच की खाई को कम कर सके। 4. अपने स्थानीय नगर निगम के बारे में पता 5 आवश्यक तथ्यों की सूची दें, जिसे सभी नागरिकों के लिए उपलब्ध होना चाहिए। प्रविष्टि की समय सीमा • प्रविष्टियों को mygov.in पोर्टल द्वारा शनिवार, 20 जून, 2015 से 23.59 घंटे (11:59) पर ऑनलाइन प्रस्तुत किया जा सकता है। मूल्यांकन प्रविष्टियों का मूल्यांकन निम्नलिखित मानदंडों के आधार पर किया जाएगाः • मत क्षमता (50%) • अभिनव (50%) पुरस्कार प्रत्येक श्रेणी में दो विजेताओं को निम्नलिखित राशि के नकद पुरस्कार के साथ-साथ, स्मार्ट सिटी मिशन के लॉन्च पर प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा 25 जून 2015 को विज्ञान भवन, नई दिल्ली में एक प्रशस्ति पत्र से सम्मानित किया जाएगाः • प्रथम पुरस्कार - 40,000 रु. • द्वितीय पुरस्कार - 25,000 रु. विजेता सुझाव को कार्यान्वयन के समाधान के रूप में 100 स्मार्ट शहरों के साथ साझा किया जाएगा तथा पायलट परियोजनाओं के लिए भी इस सुझाव पर विचार किया जाएगा। • इस श्रेणी में प्रतिभागी को शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग में सक्षम होने के लिए पुछे गए सभी सवालों के उत्तर के साथ पूर्ण विवरण भी प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए। • प्रत्येक श्रेणी के लिए प्रतिभागियों (एस) द्वारा प्रस्तुत प्रविष्टियों का मुल्याकंन स्वतंत्र रूप से और योग्यता के आधार पर किया जाएगा। एक से अधिक श्रेणी में शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग के मामले में, एक भागीदार को केवल एक श्रेणी के लिए ही पुरस्कार राशि प्राप्त होगी। • प्रत्येक उत्तर की लंबाई 250 या उससे कम शब्दों में होनी चाहिए। पुरस्कार राशि के नियम एवं शर्तें और विवरण के लिए यहां क्लिक करें

Answer 4 My local municipal corp., Nagpur MC is operating with following facts- 1.Proper wages to all workers(contact too), good supervision of cleanliness, complaint resolvent attitude. 2.Proper and necessary steps taken to impart greenery in city. (Received Asia's Best City Award) 3.Smart use of technology. Buses are scheduled properly, can be viewed through app. Traffic issue handled to VNIT, they are researching in it. 4.Training sessions to build positive attitude among all employees.

Don't be linear in your thinking about 22nd century cities. Just like how India skipped the fixed-line phone system - plan for cities radically differently. -Cities with autonomous cars - street & intersection designs radically differently -Bicycling & walking friendly -Work,Play & Home integrated -Local Produce Self-Sufficient -Integrated recycling of everything -No more heat-radiating concrete & brick structures -Densely green & maximal trees -Industry free cities -Totally connected

Answer 3 The following are ways in which we can step forward to reduce gap between poor and rich. 1.Spreading Awareness 2.Encouraging Business 3.Financial Management for All Awareness is key ingredient.Imparting awareness about- our rights, abilities, money earning capabilities are very important. Business do not need any academic qualification. Will do do is all it takes. Hence ideas should be seeded. Once money is earned, each should told smart ways to utilize what they've earned.

Answer 2 Relating to the second Smart Idea, I would like to quote about traffic in New York. City is one of the biggest city in India and has very dense population as well as high traffic. But there is not even a single Fly-Over in the city yet the traffic is managed in excellent manner. 3 Ways that Indian cities can reduce gap between rich and poor: 1) Work for lively hood and Housing for shelter.2) Skill Development and Financial support to improve the better earning opportunities in urban labor.3) Right to Health/Insurance for unorganised sector since the medical/surgical expenses upset the budget of middle class to poor in Urban areas.

Answer 1 I would like to apply following ideas to all Indian cities- Citizens-City's Eyes & Ears Intelligent Traffic Modelling Waste to energy & fuel The citizens form the basis to our nation, society and they are "Sleeping Lions". Properly encouraging them would result in highly motivated, focused community which will help towards everyone's betterment. Intelligent Traffic Modelling is need of hour. Everyone prefers private vehicle so as avoid lag in Public Transport & vehicles increases.
