प्रत्येक स्मार्ट सिटी में अपने स्थान, जनसांख्यिकी, संस्कृति और अन्य कारकों जैसी विशिष्ट सुविधाएं होगीं, वहीं सभी शहरों कि सामान्य समस्याओं के लिए एक ही स्मार्ट समाधान हो सकता है। इस प्रतियोगिता के माध्यम से सामान्य समस्याओं के लिए इसी तरह के स्मार्ट और अभिनव समाधानों की पहचान करने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। इस श्रेणी में प्रतिभागी को शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग में सक्षम होने के लिए पुछे गए सभी सवालों के उत्तर के साथ पूर्ण विवरण भी प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए। प्रश्न- 1. निम्नलिखित 21 स्मार्ट समाधानों में से, ऐसे 3 समाधान का चयन करें जिसे सभी भारतीय शहरों के लिए लागू किया जाना चाहिए और इसे स्पष्ट करने के लिए एक संक्षिप्त विवरण (अधिकतम 50 शब्द) भी लिखें। 2. ऐसे किसी 'स्मार्ट' सुझाव का वर्णन करें जिसे आपने किसी अन्य शहरों में देखा है (दुनिया में कहीं भी) और जिसे आप अपने शहर में भी देखना चाहते हैं। 'स्मार्ट विचार' का मतलब कम संसाधनों से अधिक कार्य करना है। 3. ऐसे 3 तरीकों का वर्णन करें जो भारतीय शहरों में अमीरों और गरीबों के बीच की खाई को कम कर सके। 4. अपने स्थानीय नगर निगम के बारे में पता 5 आवश्यक तथ्यों की सूची दें, जिसे सभी नागरिकों के लिए उपलब्ध होना चाहिए। प्रविष्टि की समय सीमा • प्रविष्टियों को mygov.in पोर्टल द्वारा शनिवार, 20 जून, 2015 से 23.59 घंटे (11:59) पर ऑनलाइन प्रस्तुत किया जा सकता है। मूल्यांकन प्रविष्टियों का मूल्यांकन निम्नलिखित मानदंडों के आधार पर किया जाएगाः • मत क्षमता (50%) • अभिनव (50%) पुरस्कार प्रत्येक श्रेणी में दो विजेताओं को निम्नलिखित राशि के नकद पुरस्कार के साथ-साथ, स्मार्ट सिटी मिशन के लॉन्च पर प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा 25 जून 2015 को विज्ञान भवन, नई दिल्ली में एक प्रशस्ति पत्र से सम्मानित किया जाएगाः • प्रथम पुरस्कार - 40,000 रु. • द्वितीय पुरस्कार - 25,000 रु. विजेता सुझाव को कार्यान्वयन के समाधान के रूप में 100 स्मार्ट शहरों के साथ साझा किया जाएगा तथा पायलट परियोजनाओं के लिए भी इस सुझाव पर विचार किया जाएगा। • इस श्रेणी में प्रतिभागी को शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग में सक्षम होने के लिए पुछे गए सभी सवालों के उत्तर के साथ पूर्ण विवरण भी प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए। • प्रत्येक श्रेणी के लिए प्रतिभागियों (एस) द्वारा प्रस्तुत प्रविष्टियों का मुल्याकंन स्वतंत्र रूप से और योग्यता के आधार पर किया जाएगा। एक से अधिक श्रेणी में शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग के मामले में, एक भागीदार को केवल एक श्रेणी के लिए ही पुरस्कार राशि प्राप्त होगी। • प्रत्येक उत्तर की लंबाई 250 या उससे कम शब्दों में होनी चाहिए। पुरस्कार राशि के नियम एवं शर्तें और विवरण के लिए यहां क्लिक करें

Waste management is a problem that plagues our cities. The problem is vast - right from the waste collection, to segregation (informal, at dhalaos) to transportation and finally lack of landfills. Each of these aspects needs to be addressed and to reduce the landfills requirement waste should be treated and where possible enery should be obtained and waste reduced - using waste to energy plants. Dhalaos should be managed very carefully to ensure that the waste is quickly picked up from there.

In our country, all the cities have various problems/ challenges and most of them are common however some are different due to location, demography, culture & social structure. Therefore common solution for common problems will give definitely the best results and helpful for better planning/ coordination/ economical solution.

Toll booth rates for monthly and daily are pretty much the same.Hence people do not buy the pass and the queues get longer.Criminal wastage of time and money at poll booth queues.Reduce monthly toll rates, more people will buy it.Online recharge of toll pass is need of the hour. We can analyze the number of recurring vehicles by using license plate identification software and if the number of recurring vehicles is very high, RFID tags can then be made compulsory, so the waiting shall reduce.

Respected Sir, In this morden world, verything is made so easy so that people can use it effectivily and efficiently. Sir my concern is that when we treavel through buses we sometimes dont know which root the buses will follow and makes the buses system hard to live with. So my consern is that can government of Inida make an App for the public about telling all the buses no. and their roots the busses will follow. Also tell about the wages required to treavel.

Apply existing law stringently and honestly. Create temporary settlers for underprivileged children and long term rehabilitation program must be in place. This measure will not only reduce street organized begging but also minimize law and order issues. The utility services like electricity, water, drainage should given utmost priority. How to improve the existing drainage issues must be thoroughly discussed and planned with involvement of local people.
