प्रत्येक स्मार्ट सिटी में अपने स्थान, जनसांख्यिकी, संस्कृति और अन्य कारकों जैसी विशिष्ट सुविधाएं होगीं, वहीं सभी शहरों कि सामान्य समस्याओं के लिए एक ही स्मार्ट समाधान हो सकता है। इस प्रतियोगिता के माध्यम से सामान्य समस्याओं के लिए इसी तरह के स्मार्ट और अभिनव समाधानों की पहचान करने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। इस श्रेणी में प्रतिभागी को शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग में सक्षम होने के लिए पुछे गए सभी सवालों के उत्तर के साथ पूर्ण विवरण भी प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए। प्रश्न- 1. निम्नलिखित 21 स्मार्ट समाधानों में से, ऐसे 3 समाधान का चयन करें जिसे सभी भारतीय शहरों के लिए लागू किया जाना चाहिए और इसे स्पष्ट करने के लिए एक संक्षिप्त विवरण (अधिकतम 50 शब्द) भी लिखें। 2. ऐसे किसी 'स्मार्ट' सुझाव का वर्णन करें जिसे आपने किसी अन्य शहरों में देखा है (दुनिया में कहीं भी) और जिसे आप अपने शहर में भी देखना चाहते हैं। 'स्मार्ट विचार' का मतलब कम संसाधनों से अधिक कार्य करना है। 3. ऐसे 3 तरीकों का वर्णन करें जो भारतीय शहरों में अमीरों और गरीबों के बीच की खाई को कम कर सके। 4. अपने स्थानीय नगर निगम के बारे में पता 5 आवश्यक तथ्यों की सूची दें, जिसे सभी नागरिकों के लिए उपलब्ध होना चाहिए। प्रविष्टि की समय सीमा • प्रविष्टियों को mygov.in पोर्टल द्वारा शनिवार, 20 जून, 2015 से 23.59 घंटे (11:59) पर ऑनलाइन प्रस्तुत किया जा सकता है। मूल्यांकन प्रविष्टियों का मूल्यांकन निम्नलिखित मानदंडों के आधार पर किया जाएगाः • मत क्षमता (50%) • अभिनव (50%) पुरस्कार प्रत्येक श्रेणी में दो विजेताओं को निम्नलिखित राशि के नकद पुरस्कार के साथ-साथ, स्मार्ट सिटी मिशन के लॉन्च पर प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा 25 जून 2015 को विज्ञान भवन, नई दिल्ली में एक प्रशस्ति पत्र से सम्मानित किया जाएगाः • प्रथम पुरस्कार - 40,000 रु. • द्वितीय पुरस्कार - 25,000 रु. विजेता सुझाव को कार्यान्वयन के समाधान के रूप में 100 स्मार्ट शहरों के साथ साझा किया जाएगा तथा पायलट परियोजनाओं के लिए भी इस सुझाव पर विचार किया जाएगा। • इस श्रेणी में प्रतिभागी को शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग में सक्षम होने के लिए पुछे गए सभी सवालों के उत्तर के साथ पूर्ण विवरण भी प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए। • प्रत्येक श्रेणी के लिए प्रतिभागियों (एस) द्वारा प्रस्तुत प्रविष्टियों का मुल्याकंन स्वतंत्र रूप से और योग्यता के आधार पर किया जाएगा। एक से अधिक श्रेणी में शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग के मामले में, एक भागीदार को केवल एक श्रेणी के लिए ही पुरस्कार राशि प्राप्त होगी। • प्रत्येक उत्तर की लंबाई 250 या उससे कम शब्दों में होनी चाहिए। पुरस्कार राशि के नियम एवं शर्तें और विवरण के लिए यहां क्लिक करें

In smrt city all the public deprt cmr under 1 roof likewise water, electicity, development authority like a mall all brand in one place. And major problem whch is facing time and money that is solve at some extent.ex If there is making a road so consent have taken by all the depart by seeing the future what happend right now road hve const. After a month elect deprt came for pole, water deprt for sewage so public money wasted again road has been const. Solution is area JE should be responsible.

For garbage management special coloured dustbin should be used where each colour will be meant for certain type of waste, like red for kitchen waste, blue for plastics, etc. This type of garbage segregation is followed in germany. If each and every household does this than a lot of waste management problem can be solved.

Every city requires continuous development. In the name of development, tenders are floated separately for different purposes like sewage lines, telephonr lines etc. This not only causes huge inconvenience but also wastes taxpayer's money. So a wholistic plan is required for each city, so that efficient use of money is done. But it requires strong political will and doing away of govt. businessman nexus. Can we do it?

garbage and improper drainage system is a big problem in almost every indian city. So to over come this people needs to be educated about how to segregate their wastes into wet and dry waste. Wet waste will include all the vegetable and kitchen waste which they need to put in a seperate dustbin. Next comes the plastics which also needs to be put in seperate dustbin. Then the glass bottles and other metal wastes. Lastly the medical wastes also needs to be thrown in seperate dustbin with caution.

4. There should be minimum pay for everyone sothat each person cn earn eqully. 5. Rules should be clear sothat nobody can get bail or escape from breaking rules. 6.in smart cities there should be such policy that nobody can buy his or her home all property should cm under govt and govt should make home and all homes should be of same design sothat whoever take that on rent(poor or rich) no one cn differentiate due to home. 6. More prefrence should be given to people who walk on foot.

Water for 24 hrs: •Each smart city must be having own source of water. 2.Electricity for 24 Hrs •Each smart city must have wind energy project/Solar energy project. 3. Education: 4. Clean surroundings: 5. Park for Children/Senior Citizen: 6. Green Field Zone: 7. Neat an clean Roads and Drainages: 8. Emergency plan /11th hour rush/Rescue operations: 9. Dedicated areas for Home and Commercial.

14. Renewable Sources of energy: Maximum utilization of solar energy and other sources of energy need to be given utmost priority. All homes / offices should generate its own electricity with roof top solar cells as solar energy is in abundance all over INDIA. Greenery also needs to be mandatory for every home or office which should keep 40-50% space for planting trees and gardening.
