प्रत्येक स्मार्ट सिटी में अपने स्थान, जनसांख्यिकी, संस्कृति और अन्य कारकों जैसी विशिष्ट सुविधाएं होगीं, वहीं सभी शहरों कि सामान्य समस्याओं के लिए एक ही स्मार्ट समाधान हो सकता है। इस प्रतियोगिता के माध्यम से सामान्य समस्याओं के लिए इसी तरह के स्मार्ट और अभिनव समाधानों की पहचान करने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। इस श्रेणी में प्रतिभागी को शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग में सक्षम होने के लिए पुछे गए सभी सवालों के उत्तर के साथ पूर्ण विवरण भी प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए। प्रश्न- 1. निम्नलिखित 21 स्मार्ट समाधानों में से, ऐसे 3 समाधान का चयन करें जिसे सभी भारतीय शहरों के लिए लागू किया जाना चाहिए और इसे स्पष्ट करने के लिए एक संक्षिप्त विवरण (अधिकतम 50 शब्द) भी लिखें। 2. ऐसे किसी 'स्मार्ट' सुझाव का वर्णन करें जिसे आपने किसी अन्य शहरों में देखा है (दुनिया में कहीं भी) और जिसे आप अपने शहर में भी देखना चाहते हैं। 'स्मार्ट विचार' का मतलब कम संसाधनों से अधिक कार्य करना है। 3. ऐसे 3 तरीकों का वर्णन करें जो भारतीय शहरों में अमीरों और गरीबों के बीच की खाई को कम कर सके। 4. अपने स्थानीय नगर निगम के बारे में पता 5 आवश्यक तथ्यों की सूची दें, जिसे सभी नागरिकों के लिए उपलब्ध होना चाहिए। प्रविष्टि की समय सीमा • प्रविष्टियों को mygov.in पोर्टल द्वारा शनिवार, 20 जून, 2015 से 23.59 घंटे (11:59) पर ऑनलाइन प्रस्तुत किया जा सकता है। मूल्यांकन प्रविष्टियों का मूल्यांकन निम्नलिखित मानदंडों के आधार पर किया जाएगाः • मत क्षमता (50%) • अभिनव (50%) पुरस्कार प्रत्येक श्रेणी में दो विजेताओं को निम्नलिखित राशि के नकद पुरस्कार के साथ-साथ, स्मार्ट सिटी मिशन के लॉन्च पर प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा 25 जून 2015 को विज्ञान भवन, नई दिल्ली में एक प्रशस्ति पत्र से सम्मानित किया जाएगाः • प्रथम पुरस्कार - 40,000 रु. • द्वितीय पुरस्कार - 25,000 रु. विजेता सुझाव को कार्यान्वयन के समाधान के रूप में 100 स्मार्ट शहरों के साथ साझा किया जाएगा तथा पायलट परियोजनाओं के लिए भी इस सुझाव पर विचार किया जाएगा। • इस श्रेणी में प्रतिभागी को शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग में सक्षम होने के लिए पुछे गए सभी सवालों के उत्तर के साथ पूर्ण विवरण भी प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए। • प्रत्येक श्रेणी के लिए प्रतिभागियों (एस) द्वारा प्रस्तुत प्रविष्टियों का मुल्याकंन स्वतंत्र रूप से और योग्यता के आधार पर किया जाएगा। एक से अधिक श्रेणी में शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग के मामले में, एक भागीदार को केवल एक श्रेणी के लिए ही पुरस्कार राशि प्राप्त होगी। • प्रत्येक उत्तर की लंबाई 250 या उससे कम शब्दों में होनी चाहिए। पुरस्कार राशि के नियम एवं शर्तें और विवरण के लिए यहां क्लिक करें

A dedicated facility to put common voice at the front without the involvement of middlemen who are in between. 3. Safety and Security for even common people when in need not just for VIPs and V VIPs. 4. City Development should be made equal to all areas and divisions. 5. 3 ways that Indian cities can reduce the gap between Rich and Poor- 1) Affordable housing for poor and rich in the same society, locality, premises (without separating them in the SRA, MHADA) 2) making Efficient, smooth and affordable multi- modal public transport,(as we see in the Local trains) (in some areas making available only public transport) 3) efficient, effective public Health Services

SMART ideas- 1)waste water management is a horrible problem.Instead of draining it into the river or sea water, treat it to reuse for non drinking purposes.It will also reduce the drainage problem. (this has been going in Singapore) 2) providing pure drinking water & non drinking purposes through separate pipelines. So that the expenditure of purification of water for drinking, will reduce.

A Smart city -3 solutions- 9)Recycling and Reduction of C & D Waste- waste management through separate collection of plastic, organic (dry x wet) waste from house to processing unit to it reycle it to create energy. Most important is to reduce the waste creation 12) Integrated Multi-Modal Transport-Maximum Integrated Multi-Modal Public Transport is an answer 21) skill development centres-only a skilled citizen make a SMART city

in delhi there r lots of open sewers which smells foul. this foul smell is nothing but combination of hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, methane, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen oxides. I was wondering can't v separate out methane from it which is a main ingredient for CNG. in order to do so we need to cover all the sewers which also helps in beautifying our cities and some extra space for markets, parking, bus dippo and other public facilitating areas.

3. a) By breaking down the social barriers and bringing conversations across the income divide. b) Raising the minimum wage for the poor to step out from the circle of poverty to the circle of common life that has freedom of life and expressions. c) Donating resources and assets of livelihood to the poor like solid built houses, electricity, employment, education, healthcare facilities and bringing all under one common roof to bridge the gap between rich and poor. Relying on a unified nation.

Recently Tata built roads in Jamshedpur with the use of plastic waste which reduced the cost and use of bitumen by 30-40%. Then the drainage system of London and New York can be adopted. Rooftop solar panels in terrace of houses can reduce the dependence on government for power. And a subsidy of 50% should be given to encourage it. The rich poor gap can be reduced by providing good education to all by fully implementing RTE ACT,to improve quality if living in slums apartments can be built.

Hi All, Will you please post this message in the known groups so that it gets circulated, thanks. This is the season of fruits like mango, jamun, jack,chikoo,lichi fruit etc. My request to all of us is kindly don't throw the seeds, wash them and keep it in a plastic pouch in ur car. Whenever you go out and find barren land while travelling, on a highway throw these seeds. They will germinate easily the coming monsoon. If with this act we can contribute even a single tree each to our world
