विद्युत मंत्रालय के ऊर्जा दक्षता ब्यूरो द्वारा राष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा संरक्षण जागरूकता अभियान हेतु प्रतीक चिन्ह बनाने के लिए एक प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया है। इस राष्ट्रीय अभियान का उद्देश्य भारतीय नागरिकों को उर्जा के संरक्षण के लिए अपनाई जाने वाली सर्वश्रेष्ठ पद्धतियों और आदतों के बारे में जागरूक करना है।

प्रविष्टि भेजने की अंतिम तिथि: 5 दिसम्बर 2014

विजेता प्रविष्टियों को निम्नलिखित पुरस्कारों से सम्मानित किया जाएगा:

1. प्रथम पुरस्कार- रु. 25,000/-
2. द्वितीय पुरस्कार- रु. 15,000/-
3. तृतीय पुरस्कार – रु. 10,000/-

तीसरे स्थान के लिए तीन प्रविष्टियों का चयन कर प्रत्येक को रु. 10,000/- के नकद पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया जाएगा।

Logo theme: "SAVE ENERGY-SPREAD ENERGY". A sunflower with petals represents our small efforts to conserve energy.Conservation does not mean–no use of energy rather proper and efficient utilization of energy.The Sun is the main source of energy and we should harness the power of solar and other natural resources of energy like wind and water.Unlike the Sun we should spread and make people aware of the good practices and habits towards saving energy. R3 (Reduce, Reuse,Recycle).Brightening life.

The logo represents our small efforts to conserve energy. Conservation does not mean –no use of energy rather proper and efficient utilization of energy. The green color represents conserving non-renewable resources of energy and harnessing natural/bio-energy. Making people aware and prompting the purpose of eco-energy and energy conservation.

The logo shows the world encircled by a red ribbon to form ‘e’ for energy in red. The earth has an outline of yellow to show the primary energy ‘The Sun’. The bottom of the earth drawing has design to depict water. The drawing to depict birds is on the top of the earth drawing to show wind. All three represent alternate energy resources. The green and yellow outlined figure shows hope as it represents a sprouted plant, for renewable energy sources and emerge victorious.
