The concept of volunteering is great but seems to be illusive. I feel we can have a co-ordinator who can guide volunteers to working groups. This will make optimum utilisation of volunteers for ultimate benefit of country .

At Nashik whole sale price of Tomatos is Rs 2/3 per kg. We are buying in Delhi at Rs 30/kg. If Farmers get Rs 10 per kg & we get Tomatos at Rs 20/kg, and similarly for all other produces too. But NIT Uttarakhand, so called institute of national importance is devoid of all such facilities. Since it's establishment the institute is running in an interim campus of Govt. Polytechnic and the students are compromising not only with their education but now their lives are also at stake. Not too long ago, two students of our college met with a serious accident on their way to the labs, through which students walk on a daily basis.
