The bill 2024 proposes to do away with the outdated provisions, align excise law with the GST and customs framework to ensure a more cohesive indirect tax system and incorporate the CENVAT credit provisions previously governed by a separate delegated legislation

Excise bill objective is maximum tax collection. but should also focus on easy understanding of Excise duty. slogan, song, logo and messages should also part of Excise duty. This Excise bill prepared by government officers. it should manufacturers and public friendly. invite change maker for face to face discussion. otherwise GST type fraud will happen in excise act.
