Ujjain city has been shortlisted under the Government of India’s flagship programmes Smart Cities Mission. Under the mission, UMC shall participate in the smart cities challenge by Ministry of Urban Development. As part of this, UMC is preparing a Smart City Proposal (SCP). SCP will include smart city solutions based on the consultations to be held with the key stakeholders of the city. UMC hereby invites the suggestions from citizens of Ujjain to make ‘Ujjain as a smart city’. The citizens may post their views pertaining to basic services such as water supply, sewerage, urban transport, social infrastructure and e-governance. The citizens are invited to explore their ideas to make ancient Ujjain city smarter.

यदि हम सफाई रखेंगे तो हर सिटी अपने आप स्मार्ट सिटी बन जाएगी । स्मार्ट लोगो की सोच होनी चाहिए फिर सिटी ही क्या पूरा देश अपने आप स्मार्ट हो जायेगा ।

"Pan City Smart Solutions – Five Options were identified , and based on the stakeholder consultation Traffic and Transport management is taken as key priority" YES, we totally agree with this, but what we believe that IT & E-gov option should be also be given some space for it's betterment !

In "Area based Development" page, we really wonder that why there are Base Ball ground is there in image of "Recreational area and Sports Complex" ? While no one play base ball here, nice to see that we are going to start that sports to be played here !

it is a good idea but there should be pay attention on atmosphere. we should focus on the traffic and also provide a online service to check whether a car/bike(vehicle) is valid or not by just scanning their number by traffic police(RTO service) that will reduce much time. checking the vehicles and specially provide the internet in rural areas by which they also will aware about the things which going on in my country and update themself and also provide butter education in rural areas.
