Ujjain city has been shortlisted under the Government of India’s flagship programmes Smart Cities Mission. Under the mission, UMC shall participate in the smart cities challenge by Ministry of Urban Development. As part of this, UMC is preparing a Smart City Proposal (SCP). SCP will include smart city solutions based on the consultations to be held with the key stakeholders of the city. UMC hereby invites the suggestions from citizens of Ujjain to make ‘Ujjain as a smart city’. The citizens may post their views pertaining to basic services such as water supply, sewerage, urban transport, social infrastructure and e-governance. The citizens are invited to explore their ideas to make ancient Ujjain city smarter.

The distribution of Smart Cities will be reviewed after two years of the implementation of the Mission. Based on an assessment of the performance of States/ULBs in the Challenge, some re-allocation of the remaining potential Smart Cities among States may be required to be done by the Ministry of Urban Development.

चालान काटते समय राशि की जगह पर हर बार पुलिस द्वारा हेलमेट दिया जाना चाहिए tabhi ujjain me sabhi log rules ka palan karenge

Urban development in recent times has been misappropriated as real estate development at any cost. This mentality should change in a smart city. ujjain was known as a clean and green city until recently

सीवेज निकासी ओर नालियाँ तक नहीं बनी हैं। अगर कुछ हैं भी तो सब गड़बड़ क्यूंकि ठेकेदार अपनी मर्ज़ी से गलत काम करता है ओर पब्लिक की बात नहीं सुनता लीपापोती कर के अपना माल बनाके निकल जाता है। इस पर भी सरकार को धियान देना होगा की कहीं भी इस तरह का काम हो तो एक कमेटी बने जिसका काम सिर्फ उन कामो का निरीक्षण करना हो जो सरकार द्वारा ठेकेदार से करवाए जा रहे हैं। ताकि काम मैं कोई गड़बड़ न हो सके।

अतिक्रमण कानपुर की एक बहुत बड़ी समस्या है , सभी घरो तथा दुकानों ने सार्वजनिक सड़कों पर अतिक्रमण कर रखा है , जिसे तुरंत मुक्त करवाया जाय , अतिक्रमण के चलते शहर एक दम बदरंग एवम जाम से जूझता रहता है
