Swachh Bharat - An initiative taken by the students of College of Engineering Munnar. Munnar is known as a Hill station in South and is a prominent tourist destination on the Global Tourism Map. This initiative by the NSS team of students has got a wide appreciation and the programme was telecast in the Dooradarsan Channel Nationwide.

Modiji, I feel very sad as many Indians are yet to contribute for this great mission, Swachh Bharat. The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahahanagar Palike has outsourced the job to contractors for waste collection. We at home have ensured even our 2 little children follow segregation and have separate dustbins identified for waste collection. Every time I handover waste the person dumps everything into his auto and when asked he says rudely this is not ur headache, we will handle it! Informed BBMP also but ..

one must understand that our environment is the greatest gift from heaven and to keep it healthy we have to take care of it like our own body. while walking down the street some spit some urinate some people taking their dog for walk but they forget to clean it and left the place unattended; this way the environment becomes dirty and unhealthy.
