Recently, the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the webinar on effective implementation of the Union Budget provisions in the defence sector. During his address, the Prime Minister said that the webinar was of great significance as it focused on the important issue of making the country’s defence sector self-reliant.

The Prime Minister said that the defence corridors that are being built in the country today would also help local entrepreneurs and local manufacturing. That is, today, self-sufficiency in our defence sector has to be seen as the empowerment of these two fronts – “Jawan as well as Youth”.

The key announcements in the Union Budget related to Defence Sector are as follows and we seek ideas and suggestions from the public and other stakeholders on the same:
• Budgeted expenditure for capital outlay in defence increased by approx. 19%, highest in 15 years
• Disinvestment aimed in the sector to increase opportunities for private players
• Reduction in customs duty rates to nil for import of parts by public sector units (under Ministry of Defence) for manufacturing of aircrafts and parts

first the kids need freedome nd choice not forced or dominant by any police or go erment staff power . some police miss use parents nd child future . Dear prime minister being self reliant in defense is our goal. looking at our enemy and our expenditure no doubt one we will be self reliant one day no doubt. let's not compare our country with China always cause our situation is different we are Democratic country .we still follows no first use policy, we want peace all entire world knows. Namaste Modiji, 1. India needs to increase greenery everywhere by planting saplings & stopping the cutting of trees. Govt to take initiative by starting now. 2. DD should launch DD KIDS, DD SCIENCE & DD MOVIES. 3. Govt to advertise & increase DD FREEDISH penetration. 4. Incentivise the manufacture of electric & solar vehicles. 5. Persuade the use of solar panels by reduction in price. 6. Provide 4G & 5G spectrum to BSNL. 7. Broadband penetration everywhere in India. Thank you.

we should trained child above 16 year about army tactics and army training for 2 year this will keep the child safe and protective for a deadly moment

जय जवान जैसे कि हमें पता है हमारी देश की सेना विश्व की सबसे बड़े चौथे नंबर की सेना है मैं अपनी सरकार को धन्यवाद देना चाहूंगा की हमारी देश की सरकार सदैव इनके साथ खड़ी रहती है फिर भी हमारे देश में रोज अनेक प्रकार की बाते सुनने को आती है। जैसे पत्थरबाजी, हिंसा, आंदोलन इत्यादि हमारी सीमा को तो फौजी जवान बचा रहे हैं किंतु हमारे देश के अंदर के लोगों को कौन बचाए? हमारे देश के अंदर ही कुछ लोग ऐसे हैं जो इस देश को अंदर ही अंदर खोखला कर रहे हैं हमें इनके ऊपर कड़ी से कड़ी कार्रवाई करनी चाहिए

Dear prime minister being self reliant in defense is our goal. looking at our enemy and our expenditure no doubt one we will be self reliant one day no doubt. let's not compare our country with China always cause our situation is different we are Democratic country .we still follows no first use policy, we want peace all entire world knows. I think we have to take lead in no disarmament initiative. we are nucleus equipped country and no country is leading those who have it.
