Recently, the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the webinar on effective implementation of the Union Budget provisions in the defence sector. During his address, the Prime Minister said that the webinar was of great significance as it focused on the important issue of making the country’s defence sector self-reliant.

The Prime Minister said that the defence corridors that are being built in the country today would also help local entrepreneurs and local manufacturing. That is, today, self-sufficiency in our defence sector has to be seen as the empowerment of these two fronts – “Jawan as well as Youth”.

The key announcements in the Union Budget related to Defence Sector are as follows and we seek ideas and suggestions from the public and other stakeholders on the same:
• Budgeted expenditure for capital outlay in defence increased by approx. 19%, highest in 15 years
• Disinvestment aimed in the sector to increase opportunities for private players
• Reduction in customs duty rates to nil for import of parts by public sector units (under Ministry of Defence) for manufacturing of aircrafts and parts

Try to develop blueprints of weapons which are cost effective with institutions. We can do a collaboration with private sectors or institutions with control to make blueprints of weapons and submit along with small scale working models to demonstrate to defense Research & Development researchers to set a "production cost : performance : maintenance" ratio and buy them privately. And award a new prize like Defense Civilian Innovation award or something to encourage others.

We can try to upgrade our armoury and vehicles implement systems to efficiently prepare for battle within minutes. We can upgrade our current existing weapons/modernize existing weapons(with taking account of electronic interference, signal interference, freezing &high temperature resistance & performance and easy to use software with good visible screen in shaky & high light screen glare. Use minimum parts or as one piece of multiple part to reduce costs on maintenance & easy repair in war

Honourable prime minister, majority of students have no basic knowledge about the subject related to their class. if the basic knowledge is strong, student can acquire new concepts easily, later he can develop the subject. depth study of one subject is sufficient to contribute something new to that field. exam stress is due to more subjects and mark based results

The defence budget’s focus, hence, seems to invariably be on modernisation. Significant increases in the Air Force and the Navy’s capital outlays especially highlight this. Moreover, by planning to spend more on new heavy and medium vehicles for the Army; aircrafts, aeroengines and naval fleet for the Navy; and land for the Air Force; the government has set its priorities on how it wants to use the limited resources at its disposal to shore up and augment the country’s military strength.

We citizens are willing to donate to the military(air force and navy as well) through online to develop infrastructure and do Research & Development. if government launches a app campaign or a site where we can donate by digitally or by post office. As they are keeping us safe 24/7 in harsh conditions unconditionally and I respect them.

Manufacturing has emerged as one of the high growth sectors in India. Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi, launched the ‘Make in India’ program to place India on the world map as a manufacturing hub and give global recognition to the Indian economy. Government aims to create 100 million new jobs in the sector by 2022.
