Recently, the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the webinar on effective implementation of the Union Budget provisions in the defence sector. During his address, the Prime Minister said that the webinar was of great significance as it focused on the important issue of making the country’s defence sector self-reliant.

The Prime Minister said that the defence corridors that are being built in the country today would also help local entrepreneurs and local manufacturing. That is, today, self-sufficiency in our defence sector has to be seen as the empowerment of these two fronts – “Jawan as well as Youth”.

The key announcements in the Union Budget related to Defence Sector are as follows and we seek ideas and suggestions from the public and other stakeholders on the same:
• Budgeted expenditure for capital outlay in defence increased by approx. 19%, highest in 15 years
• Disinvestment aimed in the sector to increase opportunities for private players
• Reduction in customs duty rates to nil for import of parts by public sector units (under Ministry of Defence) for manufacturing of aircrafts and parts

माननीय रक्षा के क्षेत्र में भारतीय सेना को नए और आधुनिक हथियारों की आवश्यकता है नए विमान युद्धपोत और नई रक्षा तकनीक हाइड्रोजन बम जैसे हथियार स्वदेश में तैयार किया जाए और भारतीय सीमा को लेजर किरणों से पूर्ण रूप से सुरक्षित किया जाए पाकिस्तान के सीजफायर को रोकने के लिए सेना को ऊपर से आदेश ना लेना पड़े ऐसा कानून बनाया जाए ताकि दुश्मन पर तुरंत कार्रवाई हो अधिक से अधिक सैनिकों की भर्ती और शहीद जवान के परिवार को सभी सरकारी सुविधाएं दी जाएं और हर परिवार से एक व्यक्ति भारतीय सेना में अनिवार्य किया जाए

don't show ur mercy on Pakistan or people,they are muslims,don't do mercy and give food when there is too much price, don't give food to them when they are dying on food. because when u give food or free vaccine and they become strong and take sword or take ak47 and rape our women and kill men,see Kashmiri pundit people men are killed and women are raped.

SIR, BEING A CLASS 10 STUDENT, I AM WRITING AS PER MY LITTLE KNOWLEDGE KINDLY TRY TO UNDERSTAND MY THOUGHTS ABOUT IT. I THINK THAT A COUNTRY'S DEFENCE SECTOR IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE. OUR SOLDIERS DO SELFLESSLY FOR US SO THEY SHOULD BE PROVIDED WITH FACILITIES THAT MAKE THEIR WORK EASIER LIKE ADVANCE TRANSPORT SYSTEM, SPECIAL EQUIPMENTS, RAPID ACTION LAW ENFORCEMENT,ETC. WE CAN COMPROMISE WITH ANY THING BUT OUR NATION'S DEFENCE SHOULD NOT BE COMPROMISED. A YOUNG PATRIOT, JAI HIND

माननीय, रक्षा के क्षेत्र में भारत काफी आगे बढ़ रहा है। काफी सारी तकनीकियां भी भारत ने विकसित की हैं। फिर भी रक्षा के क्षेत्र में भारत को आत्मनिर्भर बनाना होगा। हमें ऐसी तकनीकियां विकसित करनी होगी जो पूर्ण रूप से स्वदेशी हों। और हमें अपनी नौ सेना और वायुसेना को और ज्यादा मजबूत बनाने की आवश्यकता है। हमारे पास वर्तमान में एक ही पोत है और भी पोतों की आवश्यकता है। स्वदेशी पनडुब्बीयो की संख्या में वृद्धि की आवश्यकता है। वायुसेना के विमानों को update किया जाए जल्द से जल्द जिससे हादसे टाले जा सकें।

Hon'ble sir As we know, China is always upto something at its borders. We know what happened at the Galwan. It's time to prepare ourselves because now we can't trust. We can't afford to lose more soldiers. Everything is peaceful today but it was the same even before we lost our 20 sons. We know China's military strength. We need to augment our budget on the defence sector for the development of machinery and weapon manufacturing industries. This is also essential for our Atmanirbhar Bharat.
