Recently, the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the webinar on effective implementation of the Union Budget provisions in the defence sector. During his address, the Prime Minister said that the webinar was of great significance as it focused on the important issue of making the country’s defence sector self-reliant.

The Prime Minister said that the defence corridors that are being built in the country today would also help local entrepreneurs and local manufacturing. That is, today, self-sufficiency in our defence sector has to be seen as the empowerment of these two fronts – “Jawan as well as Youth”.

The key announcements in the Union Budget related to Defence Sector are as follows and we seek ideas and suggestions from the public and other stakeholders on the same:
• Budgeted expenditure for capital outlay in defence increased by approx. 19%, highest in 15 years
• Disinvestment aimed in the sector to increase opportunities for private players
• Reduction in customs duty rates to nil for import of parts by public sector units (under Ministry of Defence) for manufacturing of aircrafts and parts

Dear Modi ji Dont import defensive items from foreign countries , just make them in INDIA by INDIANS only. This is the part of ATMANIRBHAR BHARATH. So invest more money and Invite FDI for Self Manufacturing iems

Have an Query to an MOD, PMO and Rajnath Singh Ji India, how many lives more are required to stop using Flying Couffin i.e. Mig-21..? Please answer this, every year we are losing trained professionals. Why GOI is stopping use of Mig-21..? one more casualty took place while training due to mig 21.

में एक छात्रा हु ओर मै bhi बड़ी होकर भारतीय सेना में भर्ती होना चाहती हु इस देश के लिए कुछ करना चाहती हु ......भारतीय सेना में भर्ती होने के लिए किन किन मुस्किलो ka सामना करना पड़ता है...अगर runinng में १ सेकंड भी let हो गए तो आऊट 😔😔 कर दिया जाता hai क्यों ? मोदी जी मे बस इतना चाहती हु की भारतीय सेना में भर्ती होने के लिये कुछ छूट दी जाय 🙏🙏🙏

जय हिंद जय माता की जय जय जवान जय किसान जय विज्ञान होना यह चाहिए कि सभी में देशभक्ति राष्ट्रप्रेम आगे जागे हेलो देश प्रेम राष्ट्रभक्ति इसके लिए ट्रेनिंग प्रशिक्षण निरंतर लगातार हेलो प्रतिदिन होना चाहिए । एनसीसी एनएसएस एनवायटी स्काउट गाइड आदि के ट्रेनिंग प्रशिक्षण शिविर हर दिन प्रतिदिन रोजाना क्यों नहीं हो रहा है इसमें आम नागरिकों को को शामिल क्यों नहीं किया जा रहा है क्या बजे क्या कारण है गजट घर की तरफ से सहायता तो बहुत है नागरिकों के लिए है कि नहीं है और सेवा सहयोग सिटीजन को प्रशिक्षित ले सकते?

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री सर, जय हिन्द मैं अपने जल ,थल,वायु तीनों सेनाओं को सलाम हमारे जितने भी सैनिक हैं,सभी के लिए परम आवश्यक होना चाहिए कि जो भी सैनिक युद्व के लिए जाते हैं या तो उनकी डयूटी बार्डर पर लगी हो,सभी को बुलेटप्रूफ कपड़े पहनना जरूरी होना चाहिए,जिससे कि हमारे सैनिक मारे न जाएं,बुलेटप्रूफ कपड़े पहन कर हमारे सैनिक अपने को सेफ महसूस करेंगे और हमारा देश और तरक्की करेगा।यदि गाड़ी से कहीं आते जाते हैं,वो गाड़ी भी बुलेट प्रूफ ही होनी चाहिए। ऐ मेरे वतन शान तेरी कभी कम न हो, जय हिन्द

There has been drop of 33% in defence imports. It is a good sign towards achieving self reliance in defence sector. The saved money will get circulated within our own country to generate money and employment. More than 70000 crore defence purchases will be made locally in this financial year. The work on dedicated defence corridors shall be completed at a fast pace to boost defence production sector to become a leading defence exporter. At present India ranks 24th in defence exports globally
