Some effective energy-saving tips for daily lives:
Washing Machines
1. Use washing machine on full loads only. Do not have many wash cycles with smaller loads.
2. Wash Clothes in Cold Water unless in extremely cold climate.
3. Dry Clothes in sunlight and in air, wherever possible.

Electrical Appliances
1. Switch off appliances when not in use.
2. Unplug chargers, small appliances, stabilisers, TVs and other electronics when not in use. Remember, even the standby mode consumes some electricity.
3. Use Smart Power Strips.

Some effective energy-saving tips for daily lives:
Lighting
1. Take maximum advantage of Natural Light in building design.
2. Use Energy-Efficient illumination devices.
3. Switch to LED lighting - LED illumination uses less energy and lasts longer than traditional bulbs.
4. Use motion sensors and ambient light sensors to automatically switch off lights when not in use.
5. Use only adequate lighting.
6. Avoid using too many concealed lights. Use diffused lighting instead of concealed lights wherever possible.
7. Switch off lights when not in use.

Some effective energy-saving tips for daily lives:
Airconditioning
1. Use AC settings 24 degrees and above
2. Do not use blankets while using ACs, adjust cooling instead.
3. Use four or five star rated Acs only
4. Switch off Acs when room is unoccupied.
5. Do not use fans along with Airconditioning.
6. Check cooling leakage from windows, open doors and exhaust fans etc.
7. Use false ceiling in AC rooms, specially on top floor dwellings.
8. If staying on top floor, coat the rooftop with white all weather external paint.
9. It possible, put a tin shade on the roof for better cooling efficiency in top floor houses.

Modiji,Your latest intiative to fix solar panels is great
The solar industry is most un helpful and makes istallation,follow up or changes most difficult and expensive.
I wanted to shift a 1KW pane from one area to another in the same roof and they Rs 35000 for that job.
Can this sector be looked into.Their ways are a big dis incentive for the common man to get into solar energy
