to access the real loss of farmers it should be compulsory to keep account of all farming inputs like seeds, fertilizers etc and also last year output. these details should be collected with proofs and should be uploaded on servers to keep it safe and ready for use. it will give the real picture of expenditures and accordingly the compensation can be decided.

Please consider this as SOS. Potato Farmers in West Bengal needs urgent help from Government of India. Farmers are in crisis so please SAVE them. Extension services are not seen farmers are committing suicide. Whole nation should be with farmers. They feed us but remain without food most of the year. Talking about west bengal farmers who have small holdings unlike other part of Bharat. Need your support and help quickly please.

Sir, local farmers markets can be organised to aid in direct selling. Children of farmers interested in their traditional occupation should be identified in school and given specialised training in cultivation techniques, water management, organic farming, cross-cultivation, natural insecticides, processes of availing loans, basic digital knowledge to access e-auction / e-retail sites.
Landless labourers should be inducted into state sponsored programs in their villages for infrastructure devt.

Sir, infrastructure development should be the focus. This in turn will lead to better procurement, storage & processing. Digitisation with e-auction & e-retail will help in better sales & improved income for the farmers sidestepping agents. Research with green & white revolution is necessary for us to grow from consumers to exporters, thereby increasing our job opportunities. Farmers call center has to be popularised, does good work even now. The ultimate goal should be to prevent farmer suicide
