Promotion of a product is basically using psychology of users:
1. Village women Should make khadi ( cotton) thread and in some regional factory khadi than will be prepared.
2. Then dye it and prepare ready made cloths by some professional designers.
3. Start using fashion show platform and get it promoted by Bollywood stars/ cricketers in such a way that they are promoting other cloths.
4. And last but not least please avoid government machinery to promote but better to use youths onproject

khadi can be promoted if it is made mandatory for govt employees to wear indian dress (region wise) but made only in khadi or other indian fabric. british left in 1947, but why we are wearing highly un-hygeinic pants and shirts. for example in delhi in the month of june, it would be better if all babus wear kurta pyjama instead of british shirt-pant suited for english climate. Govt should encourage babus for swadeshi clothes, if it is interested in swaraj and su-shasan. khadi will get promomoted

Pls have a khadi unit at Sargalaya - the craft village in Iringal in koyilandy taluk of kozhikode district of kerala. There people get a chance to see the work and appreciate the same. They get to know the value of the product and the effort that goes into it.

In indian railway napkin are supply to ac class passenger. Mostly attendents are not supplying. Why not these napkins supply free to passenger to take it home. These napkins of standard khadi make , which can be procured from khadi societies through local division authority. It will certainly help full for poor boonkar. It is easy and courageous to implement it. Lalu famous for use of khadi at the time of rly min. A small action make popular to govt and poor face protecting.
