1. grow cotton at household level in backyard garden ....set cotton bank in Panchayat office where this small quantity can be deposited as a donation to nation... it will add up to large volume which can be sold to people who spin the yarn at nominal rate.
2. How to increase sale - catch consumers young...hold exhibitions at subsidized rates for students start khadi day in schools and colleges 2nd Oct.prize for best dressed..once the taste for Khadi develops it will continue entire life.....

1- production of khadi must be with more advance technology, so person can earn more money.2- khadi is attached with old age stigma. Make fusion with other weaving material and just do not sell in tag of khadi. 3- industries must find new and better way to produce day to day material from khadi for all strata of society. 4- it must be produce in big way, not on individual way. 5- no need to subsidize the khadi , just only because we don't have other alternative for rural unemployment.

khadi is now being made as designers' product also. Govt needs to tie up with private organizations to promote this. There can be various pricing depending on the quality and the market niche

- the prodn facility could be increased at slum level through NGOs - have a brand ambassador - there is a huge market where govt is providing clothing like school dresses and employee dresses- more outlets at market ( majority of shops are dilapidated and bad locations)- ppp model
