also interlink all the rivers to the seas so that they proposed water way system will increase trade, increase tourism and also create new sources of income, trade and employment for the villages which are in the interiors. Also towns can be elevated to smart cities and lift millions of people out of poverty.

I think every city or a group of towns/villages should have a sewage treatment and water cleaning facility. also I think that dredging systems should be deployed every 100 KMs to cleanse the ganga of exisiting debris which are at the bottom of the river bed. Apart from this, I think a controlled environment should be created for religious visits so that the entire river isn't polluted and we can have a sustainable method of religious visits.

Flowing of industrial/chemical waste into GANGA, should be stopped immediately. Strict monitoring is required for wastage which is flowing into it from the sewage treatment plants. Doing this shall save Government revenue and the river shall be cleaned to the most extent by itself i.e. the natural process. This procedure may also be adopted for other rivers in the country.

This can be done by developing SWT(Sewage Waste Treatment Plant) in every industry near the river nd if any industry unable to do this then permanantly cease that company nd rest can be done by educating the people and putting holdings and banners too to clean ganga nd not to put waste nd use soap etc during bath. If government try to implement this then ganga will become far better in few months itself.
